James is still around he said he doesn’t log on to shoryuken anymore only uses text messages, phone calls and twitter,he takes awhile to reply to emails though about a week or more. I just got my rollie flash pcb and octogonal restrictor plate installed into my te stick for $5 and it works great.

Pro-tip of the day: Please don’t use more flux than a PCB needs. That rosin core solder you’re using contains flux already.
Example of poor misuse of flux and failure to clean flux afterwards…

hey guys for some reason, my stick hasn’t been recognized by ps3s or xboxes, but if i plug it into my pc, it’ll be recognized every now and then, i’ve tried to update my firmwares but it still doesn’t work. the pc will say the usb device has malfunctioned code 43 or something. i kept plugging and replugging the stick so i could use one of the custom firmwares for the chimp to bypass straight to the hori vx sa pcb and that works, but sometimes it disconnects after a period of time. could the chimp pcb that was installed on my stick be dying after 2 years?
