Pleeease?
Where exactly do you live? I think a couple people are coming from Seattle?
Shit, Momar, if you can hit the bus/train station to the Everett station, I can pick you up. It takes me all of 4 minutes to drive down to it.
I’ll come through after work. Should I bring my stuff?
I’m somewhere north-ish near Belltown, Taylor and Denny are the cross streets. I’m still new to the area so I dunno much beyond a few buses, what other options do I have to get to Everett?
fuuuck i’ll try to make it but i’m coming from skyway/renton area from metro so we’ll see
I’m 5 minutes away from you on Lake Union. PM me your info :china:
That would be effin great if you could again Mike, I’m sorry for the inconvenience and all that it is considering you have to pack up all your stuff.
If you can bring that Thai Vega, that’d be sick man. HELLA sick.
You’re the man Fellers.
So I won’t be able to make it tonight, coworker called out so I get to enjoy working 14-15 hours this evening
dammit frank I want me some revenge from gameworks… I guess I’ll have to take my Bison frustration on Emmanuel
Duggish will be busy tonight. Gf’s little cousin is in town and we need to show her a good time in the USofA.
Good time’s can be had in the presence of SFIV, but I know what you mean man. Have fun tonight at the least!~
Heading out right now!
sadly if you are reading this the Thai Vega is not coming sadness
Good to finally meet you Dave, it will be fun seeing you at future events!
It sucks K, if only the Thai vega was here!
Hotness History tonight, we had 17 people for the Singles tournament, that’s the most we’ve ever had, if I’m wrong, just shout out because my cats are at the door and I’m not going to go in and out letting them escape.
Singles turned out:
1st Red_Venom
2nd Nolander
3rd PaulLee
2v2’s
1st Team PaulJames, Red_Venom + Paul Lee
2nd Team Vigat, Nolander + Thad
3rd B n B, Mikehascookies + Sherwin
We did a fun little round robin at the end but I wasn’t the one looking at the brackets so it turned out to be Eman on sweeps week, then James at a close second.
Lots of fun guys. I think most of us will have to say we saw a lot of potential in the people that came out tonight that would be considered “fresh” faces to the SF4 scene and I really hope those people stick to practicing and end up living up to that potential.
P.S. Mad props to Antihero for picking up Momar, and you two for bringing beer. If you missed tonight, you missed some pretty schwag bag matches where it turned heads, loud voices, and caused a couple aneurysms I think.
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck
You forgot 4th… that Bokkin guy… ggs to everyone see you later probably at GW.
Thank you Jared for hosting once again, you’re the best!
I stopped at this donut place a few blocks up from your place that was open while comin home at 4am… Next time this happens and everyone is there playin until super late im soo doing a donut run: ]
Good games to everyone. Many people are playing way better than ever before, awesome to see. I also thought maybe post-EVO everyone would stop playing, but I’m so glad people are still down to play.
Last night was the shit! Much thanks to Jared for being a great host and keeping the brackets organized. Definitely will be hitting up GW tonight to keep some momentum going.
Red Venom and Nolander’s Vipers are naaaaaasty!
On the drive back into Seattle, Momar and I discovered that we have a mutual friend in Chicago. Small fucking world!
Jared
thanks for hosting. Though it was a super long drive for me, I had a very fun time there. The drive was well worth it. It was cool meeting new people and seeing familiar faces. Both the tournaments and casuals were epic. Everyone was friendly. I’ll be there again some time in the future.
Good games all around. It’s clear that everyone has leveled up since the last hotness. Also nice to see all the new faces.
And James, your Gouken is nasty. You should def try to make it out to the next one.
