Alright so, due to my god awful performance at the tournament, I’m stepping it up. I wanna do a first to 25 with: Brian Showgun, Beast, Spektrum, Private Joker, Jeff, Kicks, Alan, and any other player that I’m forgetting about. I’m tired of losing to random, I want to step it up and know every matchup in the damn book. I’m only playing Abel in the first to 25’s, and depending on the results, I might actually start picking a secondary in tournament.
came out to the tourney yesterday. Good shit. for first time competing in an AE and second time Competing in MVC3, i think i did fairly well. The abel that i played against where we had a Double KO good shit. Sucks i couldn’t stay for the whole time.
had lots of fun.
i hope to come out to more tourneys and get better with my honda.

To all of you who attended, thank you SO MUCH for coming out. In my opinion, we had a strong turnout. We had 49 participants, which was almost double the total from last time. If you want the results, please make your way to the Storm Gaming League website (http://stormgamingleague.com). Please also add the Storm Gaming League Facebook page for all updates for upcoming events.
If you guys have any suggestions or comments for future tournaments, let me know. I know some of you kind of cringe at the $10 venue fee, but it’s only a bi-monthly thing and it’s great for supporting the gaming venues. I will always be open to half off discounts for bringing setups and/or monitors. There are other things I could waive the venue fee for with your additional help. For example, I need someone that would like to take photos for these events. Just one example…
I’d love to get some weekly/biweekly casuals/tournaments going up at Underground Alley. I also have some opportunities at other locations in the Jacksonville area. I have decided to drop my summer classes and now have some free time during the week. I will let you guys know everything that’s going on.
Thanks for all your support guys. I wanna keep this community strong and be able to give these Tallahassee and Orlando players a run for their money.

Yeah, I need to play AE! I did better than I thought I would in the tourney, but it was crap overall. I got a lot better at using the right moves in the right situations, but right now my mixups are mind effing me. I keep doing the same stuff instead of trying to mix it up. I want to really go in, so I’ll be hitting you up on PSN soon, Hollywood. I’m usually on after 10 PM, dunno how that works for you.
And also, Luke, not sure if you want to, but I’d like to do a first to 25 with you. I’m in the same boat as you; I really want to get better. Maybe we can try to help one another out.

batman stopped doing it, thats what happened. its kind of the impetus for finding a more centralized place that the Jax scene can gather to. hopefully this Hammer Hall thing works in our favor and we’ll have a new place to go to.

Tyger, you know I got your back on whatever you need tournament-wise, be it extra setups, bracket-runner, what have you. Also, now that I know the date well beforehand, I’m gonna be dragging out the Daytona scene to SU3 by their toes if necessary.
Ok, so I’m probably getting AE on 360 this weekend. I have the points in my account, I just don’t have time to download it. However, I might just buy the disc. I’m hoping people are on 360 on the regular. I have 5 (YES, 5) different characters I want try out in a myriad of different matches. So hopefully you guys have a lot of time, lol. And mics, so we can discuss what’s happening.

All right guys. We really need to find a spot for some mid-week casuals on a weekly basis (in addition to Sundays at Hammer Hall). You guys down for something after 6pm during the week? How’s FREE sound? Let me know what nights are best for you guys during this summer. I know some people work nights and some people have night classes, but I would like have some weekly events (kinda like we did at Alehouse, which I thought was awesome). Whatever happened to that guy anyway?
