if i juggle with df.2 and their out of range for b.3,3 whats my best option on a stage without walls? I know with walls i can still get a good carry but idk wtf to do if their out of range for b.3,3 and i want to maximize my damage, on other jacks and bears i can run up and ff. 1 to get them into a boundable state but i dont think i can do that with reg size characters.

What do you mean b33? Do you mean b44? Just do df2 b3,2 ff1b! df1212. The timing is a bit strict after the b3,2 but practice it and you’ll get it down. But I’d say probably the best damage is from df2 2 ff1b! dash 4 b3,2,2

Dash then stop 4. Its not too hard, You could get the hang of it real quick. For shits and giggles you can also do df2 b3,2 ff1b! df121 EMGF

hey guys i mained paul since T5… but got bored of his always baiting game so decided to try out J6… i get the rest of his game but what r good wall combos? before and after bounds… and best wall damage? paul had huge damage off the wall so hope J6 has some too…

Wall combos? he kinda lost them from T6->BR. As soon as the characters lower body is off the wall you can do db1112 and it will fully connect. This works before or after a wall bound. Now as for his damaging shit, You’re better off doing a wallsplat into bound, Then doing 4 df3+4 OR bound into ff1+2,2. The last hit of these two combos hits grounded so it’ll do a good chunk of damage. I’ve seen people use db1+2,1+2 also, might wanna give that a try.

this is the thing… in videos i’ve seen people do the first 3 and it worked… but the last hit of all these whiff when i do it… only 4, d/f3+4 connects if i start with like a d/f3+4 or something similar… with paul d1,4,2 or qcf4, d1+2 always connects…

near the wall i’ve found wr1+2,1+2,1+2 to be consistent after a bound… but it’s kinda hard to do… i keep getting d1+2 cause it has to be instant and i’m not really good at doing instant while rising… so until i have better news i’m just using d/b1,1,1 or ff1+2,1+2…

k i checked again and it seems to happen only with the female cast where ff1+2, 2 or 4, d/f3+4 misses… d/b1,1,1, 2 seems to still miss the last 2 for everyone… so for a far juggle leading to the wall that already had a bound involved i just do d/b1,1,1… then step forward and if they tech they wake up right away in a throw/mid/low mix-up… and if i can lead them to the wall without a bound or if i can wall splat someone then i’m sticking with B!, ws1+2,1+2,1+2 as it seems to work on everyone and does the same damage as ff1+2, 2 iirc…

The lower body trick works on most of the female cast except for xiayou. Just wait till their stomach area is on the ground and do it, It should hit. The 4 df3+4 SHOULD hit, Maybe your timings off? Im pretty sure I’ve gotten it to hit on females.

i tried it with different timings again and again… still no luck… it worked on lili for some reason… but didn’t work on zafina or the sisters… BUT i did find something that works on everyone and only does 6 pts less damage than f+4, d/f3+4… instead of d/f3+4 i just do f+4, d/b1,1,1 and it worked before AND after a bound… even at odd angles… even after a bound juggle carry… so f+4, d/b1,1,1 is the new staple… and ur opponent still wakes up right into a re-wall/throw mix-up right away if they tech or b+2 for some safe free pressure…

You do know that if that works then technically the db1112 should right?

well it didn’t… just try it after a bound near the wall on any of the female cast and even some of the guys… and tell me if it worked…

i think the reason for this is most of the female cast is very thin so only d/b1,1,1 is low enough to hit them… doesn’t even work on bryan… however ff1+2, 2 seems to hit all the boys…

You sure dude? I’ve done that to emphy’s bryan the few chances I survive long enough to combo him lol.

i don’t know man… can’t get it to work… f+4, d/b1,1,1 does good damage so i’m ok with that since i can consistently connect it…

edit: got it to work… i was trying to do it off a bound before and off a juggle doing it too early that’s y it wasn’t working…

How can you get that consistently but not get db1112? O_o?

ok so i tested it and it connected on everyone… the timing is a bit strict… even if u r off by a little the 2 misses or it doesn’t count as a combo… so this seems to be the best damaging one as a continuation after u have already gotten a bound and u just carry them to the wall with w/e…

but if u haven’t gotten a bound yet and u got them to the wall then “ff+1 or b+4, 4” into f+4, “d/f3+4 or d/b1,1,1” seems to be the best damaging follow-up… d/b1,1,1, 2 doesn’t work after a bound…

and after a bound near the wall f+4, d/f3+4 works on everyone except nina, anna, zafina, julia, xiaou, roger and wang… so for them using f+4, d/b1,1,1 is necessary…

Lol! Yea, It takes awhile to get it but once you see the trick to it that shit becomes a basic thing. Ricky actually taught me that, And it SHOULD work on everyone but ling. And probably wang too. Db1112 DOES work after a wall bound, But why waste the opportunity? Just do the 2 stronger follow ups, f4 df3+4 should work on everyone but ling and wang, Basically shorties=Change your combo.

I find db1112 the best option in some cases. Solely because you can just run up and do it, You dont gotta pause. Btw sometimes if you’re running out of time on the wallsplat, Doing 2 df3+4 is just as effective. :3

ya… i’m pretty consistent with that now… it makes juggling a lot more fun with jack now… and i tested this quite a few times and i’m pretty sure that i’m right on this one… u can check it yourself…

and on jack himself i got f+4, d/b1,1,1,2 to work after a bound… maybe it works on murdak too but i havent checked yet…

oh also got a sick combo against the wall… u can get this —> CH d/b1+2, 1+2, \o/, 2, ff+1, f+4, d/f3+4_d/b1,1,1 = 105-111 damage… :smiley:
