As far as I can tell without meter to one more cancel (and even then I am not sure it works) j. C is best used to both kinda keep people out and when you want to hit them from far and j.B won’t cut it. However, because of the hangtime it’s really hard to follow it up, if not near impossible.
I don’t know if it’s just me or what but I really hated one match I had against another akihiko where I was trying to do A counter, but instead it kept saying that I was blocking low when he was jumping in with B. GRR! New, faster internet with great netcode game and weird stuff still happens!
…Speaking of internet, and I don’t know if anyone here has any knowledge of it, but does a netgear N6000 dual band wireless router kinda put firewalls on PS3s and 360s (I use wired connections)?
I’m getting destroyed by Mitsuru, can’t get in consistently.
What’s a general strategy for Aki against zoning/runaway? I was just trying to do duck -> corkscrew to catch them off guard but there’s gotta be something better…
What i noticed works is continuous pressure with IAD B 5AA 2AB 236A 6B and then when you get the knock down do a short hop or a jump to bait her coup de droit, or guard for a baited DP~ and before you land throw out a J.B and if she guards do a Sweep into 236A 6B~
This is on hit, i usually throw it out for pressure though when im far away if you 236 C or D into 6B its a nice tool to punish people with personas near to them, also even if you get hit~ your usually close to them ;x so you can possibly one more cancel your recovery or burst out of their hit to push them to the corner
The counter rises every time you cancel a special into a kill rush follow-up. The follow-ups include sweep, all out attack, DP, and throw. So 236A>4A>6C>sweep, results in a Level 3 sweep.
Basically, Akihiko is a rekka type character. The tornado counter goes up by using rekka chains. Killl rush, boomerang hook, corkscrew punch should be a lvl 2 tornado counter. Weave, duck, throw, boomerang hook will get the counter up to 3 and hook will have a crumple state.
