The game is officially called Rival Schools in the US, and that is what we sign our contract on. Project Justice, is the name the US market use for the sequel to Rival Schools. It is more like a sub-title. The same as Darkstalkers, in Japan, it is called Vampire, Vampire Hunter, and Vampire Savior. But in US, it is basically a whole part of the Darkstalkers series.
Yes, the official subtitle of RS in USA is “United by Fate”, and the Japanese subtitle is “Legion of Heroes”. We talked to Capcom and we all agree that “United by Fate” really does not mean much unless you really know the story. But “Legion of Heroes” is a much better subtitle to define what the series is about. So we kept that.

It kinda bridges the gap in between issue 6 & 7. Like a back up story type of deal.

So it would be like #00, an opener for this stroy arc. Didn’t think Omar would do pencils though, but its great all the same. Same goes for Darkstalkers. And I’m excited that both titles are going monthly, Dreamwave was holding them back anyway:cool:
Preview artwork looks very nice. It is good to see that you are giving the DS and RS series the same attention to detail as to the SF one. I’m definitely going to check out the two series when it’s released.
I’d like to take a stab at the secret project: One of those DK “Ultimate Guides” for SF? Recently saw one for Transformers.
LOL … right now, I’m going through Dreamwave’s 2004 Calendar featuring Capcom art… although their stuff looks AWESOME… it’s a shame they couldn’t get their act together! Good stuff that UDON picked up the Capcom properties!! Don’t let us down!!
Hey, udoneko, I’ve been to Newsrama and the Pulse and have posted about the comics there. Hope others will do the same to get this release hyped and get some retailers to pick it up!!
Dont like the art for RS and DS (both look too generic - i was hoping for something more over-the-top for DS and cute for RS), but Arnold Tsangs stuff for SF looks great.
I can understand DS on some level(Can’t tell by one image) but Rival schools, what kind of cute were u thinking? Explain to me or give me an example please.

The sample page seemed more like generic anime art. But lets wait and see.
Looking pretty good to me. Everything looks great, but i am not too sure about rival schools. Looks good, but a little bit imitated. Add your own flavor and style to it. Everyone has their own style so i wouldn’t really knock on anyone for that.
