I got ps2 version but you should practice on the DC if you have one or else its just too late
Didn’t know if anyone had seen it yet but here’s Seth talking a bit about MvC3 and those ‘leaked’ MadCatz MvC2 sticks from a couple weeks back.
Wow. I think its safe to say its really 50/50 on whether or not we get a sequel based on reception. If they do in fact release sticks for the 360 and PS3 I am sure as hell going to get one. I have a Dreamcast Syke now I just need to buy it.
Have you ever heard of a bootleg copy of MvC2 that has more colors/ better music/ Mango ish :wgrin: that is one of the things that makes Mahvel Mahvel I thought an MvC2 fan would know that
Yeah I’ve heard about it before just I don’t know how to mod.
June 29th, eh? …Dreamcast, I loved you sooooo much… but your days are literally numbered man. Your spot next to the Genesis, SNES and N64 is reserved.
Days of going to the arcade are dead too now.
Mvc2 is gonna sell through the roof, the chances of a new marvel vs. game coming out is inevitable.
Basing it on sells seem like the sequel might happen.
Just download then burn it on a cd from what I hear
Preppy did a tutorial for color edits too http://zachd.com/mvc2/  Mad vids too, good ish
Projrct Justice isn’t on XBLA or PSN yet. So there’s still a reason to play it :)…unless your copy is sealed then you sell it. Hear it’s worth alot
I did that already and the PS2 couldn’t read the disc. Gotta either mod it or use Swap Disk. I can wait for the game to come out on XBLA. Hope they release sticks cause the 360 controller sucks for fighting games.
Hmmm. What I want to know is if whatever deal they have allows them to re-release the other vs games.
you burn it and play on Dc guy
I know that the sent ublockable is left in the game, I also assume that the Dr. Doom unblockable is still intact?
Im looking forward to this coming out on XBL. I never really played or got into it in the past.
Another interview. This time with MvC2 DLC producer Rey Jimenez. Most of it is old hat by now but the most interesting bit comes near the end:
*SFD: Have there been any changes in terms of glitches and move properties from the Dreamcast/Arcade version to this new update?
REY: All of the move properties have been preserved in the game and so have some of the glitches. We did make sure that we did our best to eliminate any of the destructive glitches, like the Gambit glitch, from the game. In order to do this, we brought in MikeZ and Magnetro of MvC2 combo video fame to help find and verify that the glitches were gone from the game. It was really amazing to see them at work. *
Lots of promotion for the game has been happening. Keep mentioning the possibility of the third game.
Damn - I had heard the rumors a few months ago, but I still can hardly believe it!
I feel like all the other people who have been on board since the early days and have seen this come full circle.
Now I am forced to get a PS3. I’m glad the game is not going to totally die for me when my DC + sticks finally give out. Because that’s where I thought things were headed.
Glad to see the original game intact, no revamp. At least not for the initial offering. Maybe try it down the road…
I read this whole thread. The “sunglasses” idea and usage of the screen for other info beyond the widescreen walls as options are both good ones, hope at least one can make it in. But even if not, you still have 4:3 mode.
For something that I thought wouldn’t ever happen, I’m sure as hell not mad about any lack of color edits, as nice as it would have been. Shoutout to the custom community that worked so hard on the DC sound/color edits over the years - and may very well have played a tangible role in showing that this would be worth doing for current-day systems.
You can bet there will be at least one Hulk out there… !
Not sure I’d want a 3rd game, but I’m sure my doubts are just because of SF4.
