Its official MvC2 is back with online play!

Like other classic games brought back to life recently, Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 is virtually identical to the classic game (the Dreamcast version, for those of you keeping score). We say ?virtually? because this adds online multiplayer, courtesy of the same systems that powered the same modes in Street Fighter HD Remix. You?ll even be able to play six-player round robin tourneys, with you and three of your friends watching as two other people beat each other senseless.

MvC2 for PC isn’t happening.
Shut up.

I feel much better about selling my ps2 copy for cheap now.

I’ll Have All Achievements In One Day!!

So, should I go a quote every person in the last thread that said this was impossible and could never ever happen?

thats not a valid point.

Graphics looks like they use a simple filter for smoothing.

and you thought marvel was crack the first time around?

:lovin:

Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit I know I will

Wanna take you forr a ridee!!!

I been trying to understand fully how the license works but haven’t been able to pinpoint it exactly. I think by understanding this will help understand if there is a possibility of a Marvel vs Capcom 3. I know that Activision is currently working on Marvel games, but I was always led to believe that only one company can own the license for a set time.

I do recall however even though Activision was working on Ultimate Alliance, EA was in the process of making their own fighting game with Marvel Characters and the team in Chicago was going to develop the game. EA however closed the Chicago office and we now know that Activision is working on Ultimate Alliance 2.

It doesn’t make since to me, did Activision buy the license all over again or is it something completely different that would allow Capcom to potentially get the license?

If I was Capcom, I would do all that I can to not only get that license, but to go to the next level and get DC’s as well so that they can make a DC vs Marvel game too.

I don’t think that is possible. The site would crash just on principle if it gets any worse.

I wasn’t trying to make one.

Good lookin out!

LOL at Marvel outscooping the Capcom timer!!
