I think the biggest changes they made the game widescreen (16:9), added online play and just have different options for the sprites. IMO, I like the filter set on normal rather then sharp. Oh and on the xbox version, you cant swap character orders at the VS screen
That’s only when you play online, pretty sure the PS3 version will be the same way.

no switch glitch from what I’ve read for online play.
Ruby hearts ghost, assist 2 snap has been modified. Instead of the ghost going into the ground, it hovers around the screen stationary. Also, rubys qcf+p+start glitch has been modified as well. I don’t know the changes that affect that yet but it to goes into the ground like the ghost. On the DC version, she goes into the sky off screen.
jugg glitch was removed right?
gambits assist 2 snap, wall dive kick was removed.
Ruby hearts was “modified” to do something else, I wonder what kind of trick gambit gets out of it.
Juggy glitch should be in, AFAIK. MikeZ or Magnetro could confirm - or any of us who played it at Evo.
If they removed Juggernaut glitch, Juggernaut becomes shit. The glitch made him mid tier at best.

It (switch glitching) was never in the Dreamcast online netplay code, as seen in Japan. Know your history. :tup:

Yup. They had three different kinds of “points” that you could earn to unlock characters/colors. One of those kinds of points you could only get by playing online. Which sucked for importers of the game. So someone hacked a gamesave of the JPN version with everything unlocked and made it available for download to your VMU.

I thought it was taking your vmu to an arcade and earning points there which was the only way to unlock certain things not online play.

Yeah, from what I looked up, JP DC MvC2’s point system was weird.
So wasn’t it points for arcade/score attack/training/vs mode, points for playing on an MvC2 cab, and points for online?
