Its official MvC2 is back with online play!

I was incorrectly lsitening to somenody that posted that info on the previous page

Hahha, and microsoft is steadily waiting to run to the bank shouting “Everyone gets fucking shot!!! lol…”

This would seem to be complicated by the rare - almost unique - phenomenon known as “rage quits”. I say the first person to get 200 posts up. It’s hard to know what would prompt those, so hard to know how long it’s going to take to get the winz.

ok i am the world documented first person to get 200/200 in tmnt 1989 and tetris evolution as verified by many independent sources

i was out the gamerscore chasing game but i was going to come out of retirement for one final time

but yea i guess i’ll be mashing mag + scrubtron for the first 50 matches to get ocvs

Spartans! Ready your breakfast and eat hearty… For tonight, we dine in hell!

Tonight is strictly for major online play, I’ll worry about the achievements later : )

only hard ones are online. rest should take 30 mins or so to do

Yea i know but i probably ain’t gonna wanna get offline anytime soon ; )

At GameStop today, somebody called for their kid “Gigi” (pronounced G.G.) and I thought that was a good omen.

I still want to know if ragequits will block OCVs. If so… how would you get OCVs … ? You’d almost have to bait them into not quitting. =P

How many RROD are we gonna get tonight?

Things seem to be nice and stable. Excellent Smithers

What makes Mahvel so great, is that it is not a scrub friendly game!

We’ve been plagued with all these scrub friendly fighters this year, that is not time for some pain!!!

The only mashing you do in this game, is during a super :bgrin:

quick update after reading the ign review, you cant do the character order switch trick. not really a bid deal but just wanted you guys too know.

it has to do with the netcode on the jap dc version wouldn’t let you do it, and this games netcode started with that model.

Didn’t they also did not allow Character switching in major tourneys?

So no big deal on that

no, you can do that in tournys. I’ve been to plenty of big tournys that allow that no problem at all.

that trick allows you get the quick moves to come out and that is so important in tourny play.

It’s explicitly disallowed in the Evo rules if you read them but was never enforced, if I recall correctly. Or it was. I believe he’s making a joke.

It’s for online matches only, though, so local tournaments wouldn’t have any problem with it.

lol

I heard you couldn’t do that before, like when I went to the Southern Hills Golfland (RIP) tourneys.

5+ more hours

any group including evo who says you cant do that is pretty much horrible and should change that rule with a quickness imho. I guess it slipped my mind they don’t allow that, anyways blah.

-not much time left guys, get **Hyper Gravitation!

Even though the rule is there I think the majority of the players do not follow it. Even in the sanford/wong match they both started storm and used c-lp at the start. They both would hit each other. Either there timing is that good which im not doubting or they both glitched. I saw numerous other matches where the players started glitched as well.

It has never been enforced at Evo that I’m aware of. I believe it was in the rules last year. I didn’t see it when I checked the rules this year.

Random ranked online play != actual tourney, though.

edit: lol: I just realized the Storm/Sent DHC means you won’t get your OCV credit for the achievement. Of course that also means I can’t do my own favorite DHCs… =\
