Matter of preference. I know people who play Marvel on a Japanese stick fine.
People prefer MAS mainly because Marvel cabs have a MAS layout
hopefully my hori swana sticks hold good for this. the ex’s are to expensive

i always liked playing on a japanese style stick better than the american layout (or any layout that had was normal with happ parts) and i think a lot of people will too. the only problem there is the square gate. i think that’s great for SF games but not for marvel. try it with the octogate
im going to buy it for my girlfriend’s 360, i ahve to play this shit on wednesday. and then ill get it for my ps3 on the 13th.

Collectors item? People only paid this much money for it because they had little other options over the past 5 years as the ps2/xbox version was a small run due to licensing. I really wanna know who will buy the ps2/xbox version now, that it’s readily available.

The more I think about it, the less excited I am about MvC2 coming out on PSN.
Last week I was having fun at the MvC2 machine, until some guy came up with Sentinel, Storm and some other character and almost infinate’d my entire team just by getting Sentinel up in the air and smashing buttons. I play a lot of MvC2, and I hate that kind of crap, it’s essentially over as soon as they get into their combo. I get that people want an arcade-perfect port, I do too, but unless I can filter out teams like that, the game is going to be a lot less fun for me.
