^because most people like winning

Marvel is just like Street Fighter, except that for each Street Fighter option Marvel has a thousand. If you take out wavedashes, assists, superjumps, and a lot of other stuff you can play Ryu vs Ryu just like in a Street Fighter game (very slowly).

It will be the opposite. Combos, resets and strings are muscle memory stuff. Online players do all that in other games easily. Blocking and punishing demands high reflexes. Online favors offense. Mag will go up, if that’s possible. Cable will be owned.

mag inf online is not gonna be reliable.

lol wrong. online favors simple execution. mag will probably be the worst trying to time shit correctly to hit people who are blocking and then try infinite? pff.

storm and cable will be up there…definitely some commando too. the simple shit. sent a little bit too

So basically we can all expect the same teams over and over again… you can find me repping Spiderman, Wolverine, and Jill Valentine. They may not stand a chance, but by gawd do they rawk

Have you guys ever played online? Online MvC1 and XSF players do infinites that are 10 times harder than ROM like it’s nothing. Combos have nothing to do with reflexes, or with the animations on the screen. Once you got them going, you can pretty much close your eyes and keep going at it. Any top Kaillera, GGPO or 2DF top player will tell you the same, or you can all search for videos and see it for yourselves.

But there’s no way to get around lag when reaction time is needed. Blocking trijumps may very well be impossible in some cases, outside of guessing, and that’s why Mag will own hardcore IMO

getting the hit does have to do with reflexes and animation

mvc1 and xsf had NOTHING compared to teams like scrub/santhrax/sscable/etc. (all those keepaway teams) just getting in on them will be troublesome with the random lag spikes I’ve experienced playing online. if mag can even get in, on certain teams/they don’t have an assist anymore, he MIGHT be able to get the hit and go to combo (if he can even hit confirm well enough [same for resets])…but watch a lag spike eff up the combo.

power when are you gonna figure out THIS IS NOT GGPO!

looks at Scaves’ join date Welcome to Marvel. If you’re at Evo, try your plans there. If you’re on XBL, try your plans there.

There’s a huge tactical advantage to three characters, and three other characters (Cable, Iron Man, Cyclops) also have a lot of dominating tricks.

If you want to play casual, you can do whatever. If you want to win at a high level you either have to be better/craftier than your opponent or you’re picking two of the top three.

lowtier online tournys should be a lot of fun!

play MSS, then you’ll pick 3 of the top three!

from what i heard… it’s the ggpo netcode… and it’s not rushed like the hd(or whatever game it was) code.

ggpo+dc version of game= hotHOTFIYAH

:lovin:

its not ggpo, its the same netcode as HDR. With that being said I still think it should turn out fine.

Thankfully HDR’s online code is almost as good as GGPO. http://www.capcom-unity.com/s-kill/blog/2008/08/29/ggpo_networking_guru_talks_sf_hd_remix_

Oh I notied the bomberman avatar. I remember that character. Is he in the game?

gtfo

Hustleman if between your ravings you are saying that Bomberman should not be in every single game out there I shall strike you very hard with my round, finger-less fists. And then I will use them to play my import copy of Tatsunoko VS. Capcom.

lol, actually I think were in agreement : )

In that case, it is all good!

(Bomberman is actually in the import Dream Mix TV: World Fighters game. Sadly it’s no Marvel VS. Capcom.)

no but UltraMan is
