^ to everyone above! Very nice! Can’t wait - I’m getting excited already!

I’m not a tournament player anymore, but I’ll be there to help with brackets and to announce as always. I just play for leisure these days.

EDIT: I’ll enter teams for fun though if it goes down, but I’d rather avoid serious tournament play.

Could we get UMK3 at this? I could host it as a side tournament…

Wow, UMK3? Its possible…, but do you think anyone around the area is still willing to travel for a tournament for it? I’d be glad to let you run a side tourney if others are interested aswell…

One more day people! Its getting fierce!

I’ve got a dual-modded stick and I was planning on bringing my Ps3 + SSFIV. Just throwing it out there, would it be possible for games to be played on PS3 if both players agreed? I’ve got a dual-modded TE, so this could happen? Just wondering, since some people play on PS3 pad and 360 blows ass-balls.

If not, this is ok, just wondering

^^^Supports above^^^

Id be able to bring a nice TE ps3 stick to help out but that’s all since my ps3 just died.

Vids on how to fix your PS3.

I recently had the yellow light of death and fixed it in about 3 hours.

Heat gun: Lowes for 25 bucks
Thermal compound: Radioshack (arctic 5 silver) 10 bucks
Tools: Lowes. Make sure you get a Torx screw driver with a narrow long neck. Cant remember what size but it’s pretty small. You will also need a philips head screw driver that can take out really really small screws. There are 2 screws holding the cabinet where your HDD goes. I had to use a knife and kinda messed the screws up.

Thanks, but my ps3 literally has no light at all. In the first vid and he says something about some cases where the power supply needs to be replaced which is what I think I need. I don’t think this ylod fix is for me, but its definately a start. I’ll email the guy and see what he says. Thanks again

I really wanna say yes to this but I’m just not sure - I heard at the last Southeast regionals tournament at waba there was a really bad problem with trying to run dual systems - I’m just afraid PS3 might take over the norm and problems might arise (like having to constantly switch back and forth between systems in top 8 = tacky) - I hate to be negative about it but although its cool that two agreeing players could play PS3 against each other, I feel some others might feel pressured into switching over as well. I’m gonna have to keep it 360 all the way - Hope this doesn’t discourage anyone but I’d prefer to keep this tournament uniform - I just foresee too many possible problems in letting this happen. srry

It’s cool. No sweat

Onto another subject then: No DC love for Marvel? Next-gen MvC2 is ASS
