It’s pretty good though it does feel like some things are maybe sort of weird? Like the timing on that one Sean trial with jump in fierce to low forward. Feels absolutely retarded. Is his fierce hitstun just that shitty and his cr.mk that slow? I mean it probably is but damn Sean, damn.
You need to like basically punch Ken in the nads for it to possibly combo.
Sean’s c.mk is 7 frames, a frame slower than other shotos I think, but his j.hp should be same. I do agree that it definetly feels weird, but I just attributed it to me sucking.
Yeah, I did find that Sean trial to be surprisingly tough, kinda weird the lack of hitstun on his jump fierce, dunno if that’s normal.
Ryu’s duffel bag falling over is in 3SO but it seems to behave differently. Try recreating this scenario in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2UIp5NCwzos&feature=player_detailpage#t=213s and see for yourself. Yang’s taunt does still hit opponents in 3SO, I don’t know if its any different in arcade. Yang’s cat, that shows up for 3 win streaks however, is MIA. God, I wish Capcom went with the original Cps3 code and graphics, rather than trying to force the arcade code into a PS2/Dreamcast base. I’m sure that would have taken care of alot of the annoying discrepancies we are noticing now.
Edit: just noticed Hugo is missing his additional taunts where he poses with Poison, bleh.
Then the bag still needs fixing. I sat there getting the shit beat out of me by Flare’s Ryu and he has been playing this game on arcade for years. He knows how to make the bag fall over, bro.
Yeah actually the Yang thing I was trying to hit a short character, maybe that’s why I couldn’t hit them. I did get the cat to come out. Are you playing on arcade mode or in versus mode? Versus mode is and has always been garbage unless you really like Gill’s stage. Keep in mind that arcade mode is gonna be the most arcade perfect, since it’s the only one on arcade.
To get “Poison” to play with Hugo in 3so, you have to use the PS2/DC whatever method, which is taunt + up. They didn’t want you pausing the game to bring that lady out.
Thanks man, I was messing around in versus mode, will try pressing up for the taunt next time. But this still begs the question why is versus mode different from arcade mode? Sigh.
