A few folks have mentioned DOA4…i don’t think that’s going to happen since the system that it runs on is somewhat hard to find and cost a nice chunk of change too. Plus these systems haven’t been put in any tourney enviroment yet, that i know of. SO that title might be X’ed out.
You would have to really try very hard to pick a worse weekend for me personally…unless of course you decided to have it on Easter Sunday!

Those dates are pretty bad for me too. Earlier April would be way better for me. Chances are that I wont be able to make it on those dates… I was planning to move out to California around that time but I was going to wait for FR9. Those dates however would make it so I would have to leave in May and I really can?t.
I really hope you guys reconsider for a bit earlier in April like the week before Easter or something close. I understand this is real hard decision.
EDIT: K my room (If I can make it ><) will have chess(I have an electronic board that actually records the matches for you), puzzlefighter, NeoGeoBattleCollisium, Alcahol, hotties, lil sumthin sumthin, and guilty gear (Hopefully slash) If you want some… come gets some 
It’s actually the location that’s posing the problem - the first weekend available for the exact same rooms, etc, was the last weekend in April.
I, too, would prefer to do it the week before Easter, or the week of, or the week after, for that matter. The last weekend is bad for me b/c of finals, which is the problem a lot of other people are having as well. But, the final decision is up to Larry, and that decision is based on the availability of a location, unfortunately.

I like those dates a bit better. Ill just have to wait to move^_^
This may be my last Final Round for a while as I am moving to California in May.
