And skyscraper is able to be linked/cancelled in Steve’s cross art (but he’ll miss the first hit so it won’t really work, I don’t think.)

EX Sonic Fang is fully cancellable/linked into the cross art and does the full cross art -> teammate’s ultra. It’s possible to do Skyscraper - > EX Sonic Fang -> Cross art. Does quite a bit of damage for my Steve/Abel team- Skyscraper - > EXSF - > Cross Art - > Abel’s Breathless does 50% on Jin without gems.

Here’s a video I made for some Steve Fox potential. There is some stuff in here that takes extra crucial timing. I don’t use a lot of EX moves or meter because I’m still in the process of finding optimal combos sans meter, but I thought I’d drop these on people to give other people ideas and help us takes this character further! So GO!

Nice video! I’m kind of amazed, because I’m uploading a video right now… and looking at everything that you guys are doing… I see a lot of unique stuff going on all around. Everyone seems to be coming up with something different! Luckily, my video contains even more completely different combos!

Anyone got any combos for when Steve gets tagged in from a launcher?

Start with cr. Fierce into ducking skyscraper. Then you’re free to follow that up with other fun stuff such as the ducking combos or another skyscraper, etc. I show a basic high damage tag in combo at the end of this video.

So what are the rules on launchers?
Here is the combo I have been messing with:

j.HK, cr.HP, lk ducking, skyscraper, cr.mp x2, st. HP, EXSF.

After the EXSF, I can’t connect anything. Do you only get one launcher in a combo? I know I can do a super or team super instead of the EXSF, I was trying to juggle the character more.

Also, a good way to connect super mid screen after a skyscraper is fwd.HP(or MP)LP target combo. It seems like the opponent must be at head height when the lp connects for super to come out.

It’s not that you only get one launcher. You could in the corner do EXSF, cr.HP xx EXSF , cr.hp xx EXSF, HP xx SF.

Generally you get like three “juggles”. A single unchained normal counts as one. A normal cancelled into a special also only counts as 1 juggle. A chain normal or target normal combo also just counts as one. Such as the fwd. HP -> LP -> flicker. That all counts as just one.

In the combo listed. After the skyscraper, the first MP counts as one juggle, the second MP counts as another, the HP xx EXSF counts as the third.

Juggle counters can be reset by exchanging characters. Supposedly there are all kinds of weird exceptions to the rules… I’m not sure what they all are.

Best 0 meter combo in corner:
CH. fox hunt (or jump HK for practical use) -> fwd.HP -> LP -> flicker cancel -> cr.FP xx ducking skyscraper -> cr.FP xx ducking skyscraper -> FP xx flicker LP

Ends in ground bounce for tag in potential.

Stylish 3 meter corner combo:
CH. fox hunt -> fwd. HP -> LP -> flicker cancel -> cr.FP xx flicker cancel -> cr. mp xx ducking fox hunt xx EX Fang -> cr.FP xx ducking skyscraper -> FP -> super

Best 0 meter midscreen combo:
CH. fox hunt -> fwd. HP -> LP -> flicker cancel -> cr. FP xx ducking skyscraper -> fwd. HP -> LP -> flicker cancel -> fwd. HP -> LP -> flicker LP

also ground bounce ender for tag in combo potential… which you can tag back into Steve and do 90% of this combo again… and then tag back into the partner once again for a final combo.

Who would possibly have the execution to pull all of that off, with the 3 tags!

I think I’m not understanding how to flicker cancel. Please enlighten me. I think I’ve definitely picked my team though. I’m just trying to learn the ins and outs of each character.

did you mean Fwd. MP LP in your combos?

They both do the same move. So whichever is comfortable.

Awesome, doing repeated EX Fox Hunts is fun. I didn’t even think to try it before you mentioned it.

I have a few midscreen juggles, some are situational. Well within the 300-400 damage range. I am still looking for other ways to expand them further to the other wall synonymous with his tekken style without burning meter.
