Yes if you’re selling a PS3, and a bunch of PS1 games it’s a PS3 lot. The PS3 plays PS1 games.
Also if you have a picture of the PS3 and PS1 games it makes it tougher to really make a case that you’re getting swindled in some way.
You being clear in the receipt part that you want things that don’t exist anywhere doesn’t really help either.
X2. I figured it was just a typo/mistake that you made in the description receipt, and wrote it off as such.
I don’t want any trouble, as I don’t like/want to have negative feedback, but you can’t buy something that doesn’t exist. Like I said, I was under the assumption you just made a typo, and called it a day. If I would have known that you wanted to play them on your DS, I would have told you up-front that they wouldn’t work, and that you’d need a GBA/GBA SP to play them. Or a modded DS, which we won’t go into here out in public.
And no, you can’t post PS1 games and say it’s a “PS3 lot”. You can, however, post a PS3 SYSTEM with PS1 games, and say it’s a “PS3 lot”.
At the end of the day, you paid for the games, you received them. Transaction complete. It was a simple misunderstanding on your end, and I can’t be faulted for that. I labeled them under a “GBA Lot”, because the main part of the lot was the GBA SP system. Like I said and Dintrao said, you could have googled them just to make sure they were for the right system. I didn’t label it incorrectly at all.
And like Elementalor said, because of the pictures Cobra provided with the sale, making a case with paypal based on Cobra not being specific won’t go over well.
Pretty sure paypal will boil down to what the receipt is for and what I received, I’ve never lost a dispute yet.

i’m going to stay neutral. it’s easy to miss that they were GBC games if you didn’t click on the picture. though i think there should be a clear description that they were listed as GBC games. also GBA lot is a very loose term. i thought they were GBA games too without the pictures. if you go on ebay and search gba lot it’s usually gba games. i think in the future more details will avoid these kind of things and as a seller i’m careful to make sure i list games for the main platform they are for.

I have pictures right there that have been listed. Surely you could tell they were GBC games, it was a GBA lot. I had a GBA system, which was the selling point of the lot, with GBC. I clearly have pictures showing they’re GBC games. I said that I saw you wrote you were purchasing GBA games, yes. But I figured it was a TYPO. I didn’t think anything of it.
What’s the best way to try and resolve this? I don’t want any more trouble with my paypal or SRK feedback. In all reality, did I label it wrong? Yes, I did. I should have been more clear they were GBC games. But it’s ultimately not my fault, because I had pictures of the items right there. I find it hard to believe that you didn’t click the pictures to see the items.
Like I said, let me know what is the best way to resolve this without escalading it further. Because as of right now my paypal is empty, I’ve already put the money I got towards SB:R.

Anyway, it was a mistake on both ends, and just as much your fault as his, it should be at his discretion if he wants to offer a refund.
Here’s your solution:
Take the $10 that it would cost you to ship the games back to him for your refund and march your ass down to a used game shop and buy a gameboy color. You still get to play the games you bought, and everyone is happy.
It took me exactly 5 minutes to find a listing on craigslist for a Gameboy Advance for less than $30 and a Gameboy Color for $10.
Is that really harder than coming on to the thread and trying to get the guy in trouble publicly?
they function on a gba and are therefore gba-compatible games not ds-compatible games if we’re trying to get legal. listing “gba games” on a receipt does not magically make them not gba-compatible games especially in the context of an advertised “gba lot” with specific individual titles. you not knowing there was a ds involved til now is why the miscommunication is on the buyer’s end (pictures, titles… never “gba-ONLY” games). that’s all assuming you’re willing to dispute it, and you should, cuz people milking these sort of technicalities really drives me into a rage. Hey man even going back and looking at the pictures, not one of those games is a GBA game. I find it intentionally misleading to not mention that your GBA lot did not include a single actual GBA game. I offered that you just refund me $8 in my paypal dispute.
