This issue was like a Alpha movie Tribute. The lesean cover was better for story,because it mix in the art well. Here are my thoughts & easter eggs I found:
1 Cameo: Kazuo, the axe man from DW’s Shidima, appears in page1 panel 1
2.Sakura botches the Hadouken and her taunting was funny, but I hope she gets to learn the skills before she goes to Rival schools.
the 2 Rounds of Ryu vs. Adon and the Flashback was awesome:D
In the Cammy story I saw Mccoy checkin’ out luwanda’s leg( I smell romantic tension). The part of Dee Jay Tells that his Back-up story was in the Newtype Magazine.
5.Chun vs. Fei long was hilarious:lol: .Feilong getting the wrong idea and apoligizing later remind me of Jackie Chan’s “Who Am I”.
But at the end of the main story was the dolls decapitation scene was the most entertaining. This shows that the extra characters in the games that were never use can fight like any other street fighter.
6.The Back-up was by far the best since #1:evil:
I wanted to say this for awhile now, so i’ll just come out with it.
Cheapshots seems(to me) as pocket fighter on LSD or Wead. I’m not insulting, it just the comedic story really works with the funky art and colors.
And one of y’all mention how many panties did were seen in that issue? the answer is 8
All in all i wish this type of issue would keep going alas that can never be due to ad sponsorship:( . I hope this title can last as Tomb Raider has.
Well during the First Street Fighter tournament Adon got cocky and Ryu just took him out with a single shoryuken, and he was eliminated from the tournament
Adon and Ryu fight, with Ryu winning of course. He finds out from Adon that Sagat went to India, so Ryu and Sakura make plans to go there. Fei Long gets a call from his agent that a woman wants to speak to him about the Triad. He rushes over to Benny’s(His agent) apartment and breaks the door down to see Chun Li. Fei Long mistakenly thinks she’s part of the Triad and the two have a brief skirmish until Benny shouts she’s from Interpol Chun Li then asks him to tell her everything he knows about the Triad.
Meanwhile, Cammy informs Delta Red what she learned from Satsuki last issue, but fails to tell them that she once worked for Shadowloo as an assasin. Giinzu says they should focus their operations on South America since a lot of money and scientific minds are being funneled here. They’re interupted when a brainwashed Dee Jay and a few dolls (I forget their names) bust Satsuki from jail and escape.
The gang member who Fei Long beat up last issue returns to the dolls Xiayu and Xanyu. They are angry that he failed and told their names to Fei Long. One of the dolls launches him into the air with her staff and the the other beheads him. Both agree that Chun Li and Fei Long should be killed.
Mmm… big ending shot of some Dolls. They’re getting a bigger role than I thought they would, after all. Niftiness (alas, nothing will ever live up to my pipe dream of some manga-series-sized Doll thingamabob, but there’s a reason that’s a pipe dream).
Sakura rambling about how cool the word, “Hadouken”, was hilarious Although grumpy and surly as Ryu is regarding that, it just doesn’t replace the coolness of grumpy surly Kei. Still hilarious, though
Yeah, and another thing I noticed, Sagat told Adon he can have the Title God of Mue Thai if he wants it in the comic. In the official storyline, Adon defeated Sagat because his mind was in turmoil focused solely on Ryu. Even though Adon won, he had to spend a few Months in the Hospital.
So in both realities, Adon still becomes the God of Mue Thai.
Hey guys. thanx a lot for the response to SF #9. Erik tells me its been one of the most anticipated since issue #1(well anyone who has to wait more than a month for the next SF issue will pound the pavement too!,lol)! i just wanted to say thanks to erik for giving me the opportunity to usher in a never-before jumbo sized back-up.
I hope it becomes a running trend for other guest artists. more fighting is always better!
I had a lot of fun with Sagat and Adon and next to a Akuma and Ryu fight, these two guys were one of my faves to try to pull off. The standards for this book is set so high from you guys in demand i was nervous myself in what i’d do with Sui Chong’s script. i think that it deserves nothing more than the best efforts. speacial thanks to Ejoo (Andrew) for the phenominal job on colors! I’m glad that its been receieved so well. also thanx to those comparing this back-up to Mads, thats an honor to mentioned in the same breath as him. that guy sets the bar a lot for SF.
Hopefully, Erik Ko will invite me back to do another contribution to SF, or maybe, if i’m lucky, DarkStalkers or Rival Schools (thumbs crossed, lol)! thanx for the kudos on the cover as well!

DA GAME finished his issue 9 over the weekend & it’s a good read & well worth the wait too.The art is amazing lots of panty shots,Chun-Li as always is drawn hot,Luwanda(pronounced right?)& McCoy may a lil’something going on in later issues.The back-up story drawn by LeSean is good.Good job Udon can’t wait for issue#10
