If by EWGF you mean what rising uppercut as called in the guide book, then no. I am almost certain that the just frame version of the attack has the EX properties of the move. You get frames 1-10 of upper body invulnerability, and for the ex version you get 1-8 frames of upper body invulnerability. It crushes standing low attacks as well.
You can’t hit with a crouching attack either unless its low which I think is very unfair. The move is way too safe and does a ton of damage on hit.
Vega is tied with 4 or so chars for second best fordward speed and he has the best backwards speed so he is overall the fastest character in the game…that being said i do understant what you mean Vega looks and feels slower in this game…in SF4 you could suddently interrup a footsie battle and just walk up and throw and often people would not react in time…in this game that is absolutely imposible…i think is got more to do with the game just being slower…
Agree…cstHP, SHC and even stHK are better to set up safe tags…
About the rolls being worse I would only like to add that IMO Lp rcf is actualy better than its SF4 counterpart…it hits from pretty far away and up until now i havent found anything able to punish it other than alpha counter…its good to push people into the corner…even if HPrcf is +4 on hit it doesn’t feel lika a SF4 one frame link it’s easier i think people should look a little more into the possiblilities this open up…you can do 602 damage combo with unmasked Vega and only 2 bars using HP rcf after a jump in…I hate what they did with mp rcf this move is completely useless now…22 frames start up…you can be easily jab out of it…is unsafe on block and is only +1 on hit…this is very likely the worst special in the game…
Yea everytime I use RCF I get alpha countered, Im gonna try to incorporate more walldive shenanigans in my game.
Tatsu x Andy OCR won Fight for Youth, beating out team EG from the losers bracket with some serious team synergy. Anyone else out there who still think Vega is a non contender needs to watch that.
Mp.roll combos from c-hit cr.mk and cr.mp allowing to get a low scaled tag combo so it has some amount of usefulness against button happy people.You can do it with light roll too ofc but it’s quite more difficult especially if you are playing 2vs2 and does a lil less damage also.
I actually got that Counterhit cmk into mp rcf accidentaly a couple of times already but had no realized untill now that you can tag cancel this for a full jump in combot with you other char…thanks…also…good to now counterhit cmk may still be relevant…cause most of the times when i get the counterhit cmk i try to link another cmk, cmp to exfba and it just doesn’t work anymore…the second cmk pushes the opp to far and the nerfed range of cmp doesn’t help either…even if it was possible the damage it does just would justified it in this game…
Dude, I made that post like 4 and half months ago. But if we’re bringing up old stuff, then I still don’t like SFxT, and I still think it’s overpriced at $40 for the whole game used.
