Someone recorded the intro of the game from GameFest 2010 (a European event I believe). They added the song that was played during the recent trailer-

Better than the one for RB1 imo. Most of the recent DBZ game intros have been pretty good though…and then you remember Tenkaichi 1’s head nod.

Also I find this game to be just for fun when it comes to multiplayer, but who knows maybe the game will have more to offer.

defensive teleports in the tenkaichi style games usually doesn’t take much energy unless it’s certain followups (I.E. the Teleport follow up attack after smacking someone far away). In T3 (can’t remember if it was in T2) you can actually counter the other person’s offensive teleport with your own teleport if you were fast enough. Offensive teleports required a bar of meter iirc.

well that makes two then… however my disapproval may stem from the even less symmetrical SSJ3 hair they stuck on his buff SSJ1 form. I probably would have been fine with a buff SSJ2 or a even a non buff SSJ2/SSJ3 if they played up his sanity. But sense they went the Brolli fan service route, I thought i’ld list the other fan Pwr-Ups that seem less extreme.

also noticed, besides fasha [with perhaps the best ape form], no girl in a dbz game can transform.

There was a DBZ Kai Marathon over the weekend… I made my 20month old watch it and he was throughly entertained - which is awesome because so was I.

And it wasn’t TERRIBAD either. They did SIGNIFICANT editing to speed up the series/episodes. I almost have a nerve to throw it on my DVR and start watching the series again. Still wish I could get the original japanese DVDs for cheap, but oh well. Another day perhaps.

oh you mean his non constrained ssj form? He was like that in the first movie and would have had the hair if it wasn’t for the device which held him back and made his hair a Teal looking color.

If you’re referring to Z, you buy the season sets for about 20 bucks per 35 eps if you don’t mind Widescreen, cropped video, or the Dragon Box sets for between 30-40 bucks for 40 eps.

If you’re specifically referring to Kai, then it’s a minimum of 20 bucks for 13 eps, so yeah, that sucks.

So I finally DLed and tried the demo.
First off the visuals are AMAZING, the stages and their backgrounds are very well drawn.
There wasn’t an option to see the controls exactly, but Right along does special moves, while Square was standard attack. Triangle is either heavy attack or chi blast (depending on if you’re holding a direction I think).

I only played with SSJ Goku and Kid Buu, but if there is something you guys want me to check out, I’ll see what I can do ^_^;

From what little I played…I think I’ll get it, I haven’t played a DBZ fighter on my PS2 or 3 since Budokai 2 and 3, tho I did dabble a little in Super DBZ.

Nobody ever said they did. Vegeta probably subscribes to the “whoever I’m nailing on a regular basis is my wife” school of thought his people more than likely had.
