btw goku actually wanted to rest (I think he secretly wanted better challengers) when he was training gohan, even gohan wondered “how did dad get so strong when he was focusing on training me” goku could of easilly carried on training and wiped cell out first time, he was just uninterested in fighting a concoction of all his friends and past people he’s already steam rolled.

I think Goku had long ago figured out or had a six sense of knowing he would die some how. I mean look at all the time he spent with his family and friends. He even fucked chichi and left her another kid. Dont forget, that when he fights Paiku in the other world tournament, he is able to go toe to toe with him and never truly uses his fully power against him either. Paiku destroyed cell in 1 hit when he was running rampant in hell. During the cell saga, I believe Goku knowing his fate, figured it was time to show Gohan how to wake up. At this point, both Trunks and Vegeta were strong themselves, but forgot to master the being a saiyan all the time to conserve energy and not knowing how to control the bulky muscles and lack of speed.

Yeah, I think that Goku was sandbagging against Cell, especially given the whole “I give up” bullshit when Cell was obviously winded from blowing away all of those energy blasts. Trunks and Vegeta both fucked up when they chose to go Ultimate SSJ over refining their technique and power in normal SSJ, since Goku demonstrated that he could do USSJ as well in the Room of Spirit and Time, along with telling Gohan all of the weaknesses of the form.

Honestly, I don’t believe Goku was sandbagging against Cell since he told Gohan he was giving it everything he had in the fight (you know someone’s losing when they resort to random scatter shots in battle ). Cell had him beat and Goku didn’t stay in the HTC longer because it took too much out of him (meaning those last three months towards the year wasn’t going to happen either way). Also, Trunks and Vegeta were so stupid that they realized what Goku and Gohan did to their SSJ power, but yet, they still didn’t use the method smh.

nah, all the colors were correct except Mr. Popo. It would make sense when you consider how anything animated on saturday morning is likely to be super-censored. When Piccolo fired “special beam cannon” a week or so ago thru Radditz and Goku, I think Goku only had a slight bruise on his chest.

yeah, they cut out almost all of the filler so now at episode 71 goku recovers from his illness, meanwhile that same thing occured back in like episode 131.

Speculation is that it’s going to be a commercial for a card game, which I find lame, but they designed generic Saiyan characters for it and will be including Gokuu, Cell, Cell Jr(s) and Trunks. For a sec I thought it might have been a tie-in to DBO, maybe an OVA or a series, but given that there’s next to nothing known about this Dragon Ball Heroes title, who knows.

That makes it look like it could be a card game, or it could just be something else entirely.

Personally I hope it’s not. Realistically, it looks like marketing gimmicks for something that will likely end up uninteresting. Someone on the Daizex forum quipped about DB meets Yugioh, barf
