if you’re talking skin color and not “african” then many people from southern india often have VERY dark skin color. So if dudley was from that region, he might be “black” but not of african descent.

Well, Brazil had Aboriginal people at one point, though they likely had darker skin as well, and they were absorbed by settlers long ago. But it’s something to know.

Best black character is truly Lucky Glauber. His charisma and soul really embody the heart of the Afro-American struggle. I would know, I have three (count them THREE) black friends who have all told me I am not racist. Balrog is a minstrel show that performs for “fight money” and his nazi like overlord. Lucky is a character every kid at the arcades can look up to, regardless of creed or color.
