if they can trace your MAC address (which they easily should be able to), it won’t matter who did what with the network. They’ll know the PC ID and MAC addy, and you be fucked.

MAC addresses are not “easily” spoofed. And if you are smart enough to do it, you are smart enough to use TOR or something similar.

The law can’t do fuck all just because somebody used ur internet illegally (especially if u don’t password protect ur connection)
