lol in the vid, Combo Fiend started the combo off of a smart bomb hit and Mag was glowing red even into the beginning of the infinite set-up 
Look at how the hitboxes touch Mag: first off, Combo Fiend gets his 1st sj. u+hp off so early after sj you would think he was trying to do the Upper Shom :wgrin: well, when IM addf after that, he gets hit by the top of sj.lp, and when he does his sj. u+hp it hits him with the back end :looney:
I’m sure there is a butt-load of stuff here already, but I’m going to add a few ideas for his INF on launch as I sit here and get them to work at least 3x from freestyle in training (vs Cable):
using sj. uf+hp
- launch ^ (sj u and as early as you can) sj. u+hp xx ad d xx sj. u+hp…granted I had to Nj with j.lp, j.lk, j. u+hp and go from there to get it rather consistently , but given certain angles and timing you can go right into infinite after your 2nd sj. u+hp :looney:
using sj. hp
-Shit. This one is considerably more consistent than setting up the one you mentioned while using sj. u+hp.
launch ^ (sj u) sj. hp xx ad df xx sj. lp, sj. u+hp…
using sj. d+hp
-Good for Mag players who are adjusted to quickly canceling their ad df into sj.lks. Again, easier for me than setting up sj. u+hp
launch ^ (sj u) sj. d+hp xx ad df xx sj.lk, sj. u+hp…
I like this one sort of the most because you can just hold df for the hp and the ad. :tup:
launch resets
Yea. I like these the most because they’re just the shit like that and are TOO easy to set up given the added confusion in-match. Some:
- launch ^ (sj u) xx ad df (cross up), sj.lp, sj. u+hp…infinite :arazz:
- launch ^ (sj u) sj.lp xx ad df (cross up), falling sj. u+hk (they land by the time this comes out and IM connects it on cross-up just as he lands) :woot:
- c.lk, c.mp xx sjc xx sj.lk xx ad df (cross up)xx sj. u+hk (like the last one but faster)
Hope that helps. When you play, pay attention to positioning a bit more, rather than trying to dial in a combo. Freestyle using all you know. Oh, and listen to this while you practice stuff in training mode. For some odd reason it helps. :tup:
