It’s sad how most Canadians don’t really care about international policy if it does not influence their lives directly. For those of you guys who don’t know, this is what our current Prime Minister said soon after the 2003 Iraq war started(his party was the opposition in the Canadian parliament at the time and was the only party that voted for Canadian support for the invasion of Iraq):
“…in reading only the polls, indulging a juvenile and insecure anti-Americanism, this government has for the first time in our history left us outside our British and American allies in their time of need.”
And it didn’t stop there, he even went a little further a couple of days later:
“The Canadian Alliance – the official Opposition in Parliament – supports the American and British position because we share their concerns, their worries about the future if Iraq is left unattended to, and their fundamental vision of civilization and human values.”
So this is the man that we trust in looking out for our best interest on the diplomatic front…:sad:

I think it may have something to do with the fact that most of us have lives outside of fgs. Some of us being involved in things such as business, economics, etc. Just a thought.

and if you’re going to correct something I said do it right because I should of said “until this moment, I never understood” or “I never understood”.
