I deleted Mafia Wars, all those fuckers that got a headstart pretty much ruin the game.
Now I’m playing Flick Fishing and that Montezuma (like Bejewel) game.

Downloaded Biggest Brain last night for $.99! I don’t know how limited it is, but if you haven’t got it yet, get on it!

Got a few new games this week:
Bloons ($0.99)
This is the Iphone version of the highly addictive flash game. I know it’s free on the internet but this On-the-go version that has 3x times the amount of levels was an immediate buy for me. I love that game so much
Flight Control ($0.99)
Really fun and simple game. You have 3 sorts of planes, direct their trajectory to their proper landing strips without them crashing into each other
iDracula ($0.99)
Awesome fun. It’s a survival kind of game where you shoot a bunch of monsters. Controls are quite nice. Highly recommended.
I just downloaded the Galaxy on Fire, MGS and Wolfenstein Demos. I’ll update on those later today.
Flight Control is reallllllly fun…it’s crazy moving like 7 planes at one time to the landing strip…and slightly addictive…

So after quite a quiet work morning here’s my quick impressions of the 3 previous games I mentionned. Keep in mind I played each for about 10-15 minutes and it was demo only.

Galaxy on Fire 3d (full price: $2.99)
3d space shooter a-la Warhawk a bit. You have a choice of either Touch control or Tilt. Personally I prefer touch but tilt is pleasantly decent. The interface is pretty easy to understand and the game play is fun.
Of course try the demo before buying but I’m probably going to get this soon. -
Metal Gear Solid Touch (full price: $7.99)
I was pleasantly surprised at this. I’ve heard some bad things about it but i enjoyed it. It’s not uber complicated, I think it has just the right amount of depth. From what I played so far it’s not too hard either. I would definately buy it if it wasn’t so high. I know $8 isn’t much but for some reason I still have a psychological barrier for expensive Iphone apps. -
Wolfenstein 3d (full price: $1.99)
I’ve read some damn good reviews about this and I can see why. It’s basically a perfect port of the original version. All exept the controls. I applaud them for making it so good with what they have, but for an FPS, Iphone control sadly suck. Give it a go on the lite version and see if you like the controls.
Wolf 3D is currently at $1.99. Definetly worth the price. You get used to the controls after awhile, and you start to get more accurate.
Playing it makes me want to play DOOM. I hope id is working on that next.
