Hey guys. UFGT7, Chicago’s Evo Tournament Season qualifier, is only a month and a half away. You only have two weeks left to register at the normal rate, and orders for T-shirts and Stick-Bags will also cut off when we move to Late registration pricing. Pre-registration is mandatory this year. If you choose to register at the door, you will be paying the Emergency Registration fee. Registering this way means that you must be in line by 11am on Friday the 27th or you cannot be entered into any of the bye slots in the pools, as well, and you cannot be regionally seeded as the brackets will already be made.
The event is a full 3-day tournament being held Memorial Day Weekend (May 27th - 29th). Hotel rooms are the same low rate of $69/Night as last year. We’ve more than doubled our ballroom space and will be running 32-man-or-less pools for every game on the roster. We want to make sure your time is well managed and that you don’t spend time waiting around. Our increased space allows us to have ample room for BYOC, and for other special guests and activities.

One setup and limited time meant double-elimination tonight, but with 3/5 matches for each pairing. For anyone wanting more casuals: Alex and I are there at 5:00, so be sure to come early and get a few good warm-ups in. Can’t promise anything for after the tourney, unfortunately. Everyone seems to be leveling up, and I’m a pretty huge fan of that. Let’s keep that trend going.

Got it, playing it, enjoying it. it’s not as much fun as umk3 is but it’s better than the last 4 Mk games imo.
What I leave in the toilet after a hot wing binge is better than the last 4 MK games.
Anyway I played kdotlo and crew last night and they’re no pushovers, I lost more than I care to admit but damn it was fun. Greg is it possible for us to run more than one setup for Marvel? I think we’ll need two.
^Pretty sure this is not going to happen. Not only that, but the one setup lags. Not significantly, but noticeable- Sam knows.
Unless you guys were to bring a setup. Although Joker’s sole setup is PS3 so there’s that.

Well, we didn’t do King of the Hill format. We did a double elim bracket that Mike rigged so that me, Mike and Olli were on one half and Chevy, James and Jackie were on the other half. Olli only lost to me and Mike. Basically one of us three was going to place lower than one person on the other half of the bracket, lol.
ps - Mike totally rigged it that way on purpose, I saw him re-roll the dice he used to figure bracket placement like a million times. :nono: heeheehee:badboy:
I’m able to go to the Madison tourney this weekend - Olli and Mike, too. Should be pretty fun! Any other IA peeps gonna hit up Madison this weekend?
