Hey all. I’m pretty new to fighting games (been playing. Marvel and SSFIV:AE for a couple months now) and I’m still pretty shitty but I figure getting my ass handed to me in person has to be better that having it happen online.
Is there anything going on in Des Moines? It’d be nice to get to hang out and play some fighting games with folks, as all my friends are only in to CoD.
I don’t play marvel cause i don’t have it but i play everything else if you ever feel like gaming.
Because they’re always half-assed fulfillments in the end. Makoto, good in one game, bottom tier in the next. Antman, a cameo in another character’s level 3. Jojo’s…being made by CyberConnect2/Namco Bandai. King of mediocre anime fighters. Curtis you let yourself down sometimes man. Ask for better.

I was busy last night and didn’t get to mention it, but those of you “lucky” enough to have experienced it: Happy 1 year anniversary of “The Jojo’s Rant”.
People work so yeah weekends it is.
Most of us are pretty good at letting everyone know ahead of time when things are going down, but in all likelihood you’d have to get some weekend days off to make it to any of the bigger gatherings.
I know Klaige is on board, but is anybody else going to hop on the Persona 4 Arena train? I know I am, but some warning before I get invested in another game none of you play would be nice. 
I’m gonna play it but I mean it’s not gonna be a big game for me.

Sadly I can’t really get time off. I was hoping there might be something on the occasional weeknight. Oh well, maybe at some point.
I am on the persona hype train all day. Because Kanji needs to RENOVATE SOME ASSES.
I like to read Personal as personal, it makes sentences much funnier to me.
Hey, this may be the wrong place to ask, but I just moved to Des Moines/Ames area a while back, wondering if there is some weekly or monthly set of MvC that happens somewhere in this area. If there is some info or group page or something I’d love to see it.

I live in Davenport. I just might have to come to this event in October. Watching this year’s Evo really made me want to participate in the local FGC.
