I dont buy the single issues, but I buy every trade that comes out, I really enjoy this series, its a great fun read, it really has all points you could want in a comic. :tup:
I do say I’ve heard about many marvel comics and I do own some with the green lantern, but this one sounds a little girly, don’t you think?

No I dont think so, vol. 12 is where he fought Conquest, although when I was at the comic book store, it looked like there was another Arc going on with Conquest in it around issue number in the70s.

If they ever make an Image comics fighting game, Conquest should be the Gouki of it 
Minus the ki blasts, and with Zenkai still in play. If Mark learned martial arts from those 2 guys from the future…my god, he and Goku might be able to cancel each other out after Mark got some more years under his belt.
I like the subtle shot that was made at dbz when Mark first fought Conquest: “Child, please. Being enraged at me doesn’t make you stronger. That’s not how it works.”
Nah-uh: the mech-Zangief of it, only with 4 hits needed before he entered hit-stun.

Conquest wasn’t killed in the first fight (62-63), if that’s what you’re confused about. Blame Cecil. Conquest and Mark went at it again with a more final and definite result later in issue 72.
I have been intersted in Invinvible for a while now but i didnt know where to start so I decided start to from the beginning and marathon it this past weekend, and all i have to say i wow. This comic is awesome. Kind of a slow start but the rest of the series is fantasic. Im definitly going to be picking up issue 75 on wednesday and subscribing to the series.
On a side note is Astounding Wolfman anywhere near as good as Invincible, because if so i’m on board.
I’ve read the first two trades of Wolf-Man and it’s okay. I hear it gets better in the next trade, but I don’t think it can possibly be as good as Invincible. It’s only 25 issues long.

When is a good point to jump on this book? I’ve heard nothing but good reviews from the people at my comic store. Is there a lot of backstory I should read before picking up current ones or can I just pick it up?
