in savannah, georgia… we have the 2nd largest art school in the country… savannah college of art and design, which has a very large media division. i can personally arrange a screening of this film with a percentage of the proceeds going to the filmmaker… so if you give me any of this “nyc only” shit i will poop all over you. thanks.

It was mild exaggeration.

Dont be bitter because you’re paying for a movie and 2 buttered popcorns while others “torrent da shit down”.

*giggles

Its called hanging out with people, having a good time and supporting the scene. I’m sorry for not using the excuse to “torrent that shit down” like the rest of the fools around here, but I would rather be around real people rather than hanging around my computer waiting for something to DL.

This is the last post im typing dealing with this stupidity. Remember you quoted me because you’re too stupid to read english. If you were smart at all you wouldn’t have bothered quoting me and starting shit.

That kind of talk makes me n0t wanna release a DVD… … …who’s up 4 popcorn?..

Good game Nick. T

I play 3d.

And popcorn is gross. They should sell chips at the movies.

I can see that from your Lili and Dragonov AV. I too play 3-D.
I’m a chips fan myself. The popcorn was just fig. of speach…

I was kidding about downloading your movie, I’m not to into of the 2d tournament fighting scene.

Yes!

Count me in Shankar. I really respect what you’re doing with this, and I think it’s a major step in the right direction for the community.

Last fall, around early september, I was inspired to think of possible approaches to a documentary like this. I have kept many notes (with dates and times recorded precisely), recorded match videos of various players, related my own experiences with the game to others in the community, and have come to some interesting conclusions on how to look at fighting games through a cultural rather than an aesthetic lens.

I am an aspiring director and I plan on going to either City College or NYU for film. We really should talk

Im definitely goin’ to this. Im aspirin’ to be a Film student once my money gets right to go to school for it…so you will be seein’ 730 there!!!

-730!!!

EDIT: Shankar, if you in Film too, Holla at me on AIM-PostmanKE730…Get at Me!

Well, we do have a life and that’s waiting for the torrent to finish downloading after someone has hosted it.
Second we don’t live in NY like some that have the f**king luxury to drive to go see it. [prepares to be flamed]

like i said…Someone will release a torrent…HOpefully…or i’ll buy it if it comes out over here.
:bgrin: :razzy:

you never answered me shankar :frowning:

hey i remember when you were interviewing us when i was fixing the joystick. DID I MAKE THE CUT!?!? :D:D

Shinraven/Postman-Thanks for the support. Get at me on the AIM sometime…(same as xbl tag)

Skimitar-Do you travel to big tourney events?.. if so, look at the screening that way. You would be surprized to know how many ‘Indi film fans’ there is out there. That camp on the snow just to see a movie.
I can see where you are comming from, but at the same time; I travel to events all the time. I see it as an experience that I will miss on if I’m not there.

Collin-We’ll talk in person.

Topknot-I think I had you in a early rough cut, but because of time issues your scene didn’t make the cut. I’m sure you will make it to the dvd.

Woot! OCV Crew is being featured. Good shit!

your really in New England? :wow:

holy shit! I’ll definitively buy the DVD (whenever it comes out) I love that kind of stuff (I’m still begging they release BTM on DVD). congrats to the all people interested in fighting game community that are doing this thnigs.
