If any more in the Empire wants to come I will add them to the list. I will have the admin make your thread a sticky on the forums and push it. I need the exclusive article so that I can promote it hard on the site. Until then, Hail.

I might come up there for this, it’s likely that I can, so put me down too.

I’ll be there. I have to rep for the 2d fighting game/ arcade culture.

check out the Empire site, there is a article up:

http://empirearcadia.com/community/com-30.htm

any tentative date for releasing the dvd? I want that!!

you know i dont blame them for wanting it to be in the west coast.the gaming here is dying more and more. starting with people that’s involved in the gaming cummunity and dont show up, dont know what day they can show up, they might come, and posting unneccessary info like what i said above. including my comment.

west coast seems more dedicated to this shit. and saying "i have a life " is the equivelent of being lazy or a procrastinator unless there an event conflict/work that day.

ill show up the day after someone can give me the time that its playing. if someone can pm me the time ill come on the 12th

I have to be counted out Shankar, since I started a new job and won’t be able to come! I really wanted to see my boys Art and Flash, and the rest of the crew that I haven’t met. But maybe I’ll make it up there soon. I’ll definitely be looking out for the DVD.

The time is on the main page… here!

“Inside EVOlution” has a ONE time showing only, tomorrow Friday November 11th at 2:00 pm at City Cinemas on 12th St. and 2nd Ave NYC. Everyone who attends gets free Vitamin Water courtesy of Glaceau & Empire Arcadia.

Link Broken!!!

So how was it?

I have some circumstances…

  1. WC
  2. Broke

I was wondering what price you have planned so far?

I wish I could see it in a theater! oh so jealous~ You guys go check it out!!, Shankar has a passion for our community, this project needs support  and besides, who doesnt want to relive Evo2004 for just a little bit anyways

~Born to Play~

It was a great experience watching it in a actaul theather. I think more documentaries of videogame cultures should be viewed at theathers. I saw your cut in the documentary Vanessie which was nice. Shankar and most of us in the Empire did a recording for MTV last night and Shankar and I pitched it to the people at Direct Effect. Right now they are reviewing the documentary and they will contact Shankar and I to let us know what they may do with it.

Shankar just left to go back to Rhode Island earlier today, so I’ll be working from the New York angle to help push the documentary. Either way if it works out then that would be great for the fighting game community. If it doesn’t work… well we’ll just wait for the next opportunity to get it exposed on a huge media aspect.

PS: Also there is a picture of you on MTV as well. Until then.

wow… . just let the cat out the bag why don’t cha!..

great, mtv, now we can have a bunch of emo fucks pretending to know how to play fighters.

~Born to Play~

lol. Sorry Shankar, but its not it makes a difference. You know our new direction now so it “really” doesn’t matter. That is not to say anything against you either because understand exactly where you are coming from.

As for the comment about people prentending…lol, you don’t need MTV for that, gamers have been doing that for years in SRK. Most of them all troll the Gen Discussion even as we speak.
