thats what i mean, at the end you realize is more useful to bait instead completing the combo, so combo gameplay mechanic gets spoiled…
personally, i find myself stopping the combo after a pair of hits 80% of the time.
… and it works

Usually… when I’m playing and I’m excited and really need the reversal, I’ll cringe and press the button without letting it go. :smokin:
Really, you cannot do a hadouken motion and press the button within 1 millisecond. If the game is running at 60 fps and its supposedly at 1 frame window, you will need to do the whole motion and press the button within 1 millisecond. Think about it… it can’t be 1 frame.
thats input buffer, not reversal buffer… two totally different things.

uh, the motion only has to be ?completed? in that one frame window. you can buffer the joystick motion beforehand and hit the button at the last moment.
Ah I see! Finally someone explains it to me. So I just do the motion in 1 frame and press the button whenever?
I wanted to thank the above posters (blackadde, ColinZack, ilitirit, m16ghost, and anyone I might have missed) for clearing up the reversal window controversy for me.
