About cancels, they do feel weird to me. Or maybe it’s online. But I find that I can never cancel harley’s b11. But again, maybe it’s just online. Speaking of Harley, what should I do for pressure with her? Using b11 doesn’t work as well as I’d hope since it’s it’s not like it has enough range to catch rolls and it doesn’t go the 2nd shot on block.

i hope you mean b22, that move is crazy good, it’s a great low, it’s just slow so you can’t throw it out randomly, it’s a great meaty tool
she also has f2 which is a really quick overhead, her command grab (QCB F), and even throwing out a raw tantrum stance is good too, her high-low mix-up is crazy good, abuse it

also, her cupcake bomb is an overhead, frame traps, great meaty, etc. use it well
and finally, her air shot is her best zoning tool, great for getting around aquaman and deathstroke zoners

Anybody play Luthor? I’ve been messing with this game a little, but won’t really get a chance to play until later this week.

I’ve got to agree that the cancels seem weird in this game. For some reason, Luthor’s hcf2 gives me problems cancelling into it from chains. Like, if I’m trying to do 1,1,2xxhcf2 I have to pause between the second 1 and the 2 to get the hcf2 to come out. If I’m cancelling into any other special, I can do it as fast as I want.

It could just be me. It’d be great is someone could test it out for me, and see if there having the same trouble cancelling into hcf2

I would like to see dedicated character sub forums, so we can just put character specific combo videos in one thread there (and avoid the nonsense we have now with individual combos getting their own thread). We can have a general videos in the main forum, for non character specific stuff.

fun fact: The first input after a blocked jumpin gets dropped. This is kind of a major issue, lol

Oh I was saying that she seemed that way. I’m trying to pick up Hawkgirl and by no means an expert at her; that’s just the impressions I had with that.

I thought that Raven’s special grabs both hit aerial units? Am I wrong? I don’t really play her either, so maybe I don’t understand how she works?

I’m actually a Sinestro/Grundy player atm and I know Sinestro does fairly well against Hawkgirl.

Because they’re supposed to be unique. Almost option-select versions. You’re adding to the move rather than completely changing it in most circumstances.

Doing your version would just turn them back into EX moves which is kind of meh.

I don’t think this is really going to be THAT big of a game that there would need to be a separate thread. I mean look at TTT2… It’s basically just one big thread. (And not the most active thread in the world either…) I think the same would be fine for Injustice.
