It varies depending on the character. When I play Doomsday, my meter goes to MB bounces, and MB venom/supernova, and the occasional MB footdive after his upwards venom. When I played Raven (who I desperately need to learn her combos better), it gets saved for punishes (instant 30+% on a punish, ummm yes please), yet I ended up getting a LOT of chances to use super, because she builds meter like a battery. I just need to find some super setups for her. Black Adam, he has TONS of Super setups off combos (my favourite being 2,2,b+1 super, or add 2, 2, Black Magic first for a 10 hit combo before the super even hits). Grundy, yet again, using meter more for ex Hands and MB trait or MB bounces. Super if I can though, due to how easily it lands.

I use Supes super sometimes, but mostly because it can punish anything anywhere. But, I mainly use it for MB bounce, MB Breath, Pushblock, Clash and other crap.

Yeah Shazam needs his meter for those burned Command Grabs. Plus, his super sucks.
I primary use my meter for meter burn, push block and clash. I use Nightwing’s super as it’s one of his better AAs
Yeah, but I think most characters have better damage options than comboing into super. Black Adam, for instance, gets 49% from comboing into super like you mentioned, but he gets 53% from just one bar, and 60% from two bars. There’s simply no reason to use super unless you’re just lazy. Most supers will probably be reserved for utility rather than damage. I agree they’re somewhat underwhelming, especially with wager being a free meter sink late in the match.
I always try to finish my opponent with super. But thats mainly because wonder woman dosent really have good meter burn.

Super will be on the backburner again but it does have more uses than in MK. Utility for some. Someone like Arrow lives off of Super too. The main thing though is that Super’s are Unclashable. Good way to put away a match or lower your opponent’s health without as much risk.
Does the default button layout bother any pad players? Maybe I just didn’t give it a chance, but one of the first things I did was change the trait button to X (on PS3). The default 1-2-3 set-up was just a little too awkward.

Alright, I’m gonna work on my Nightwing Gen Dis and making that serviceable before moving onto the Injustice Guide thread.
Hmm is it me, or are all the projectiles hitboxes gigantic even though their animations are tiny as hell. wtf NRS.

…Could just be you. It’s rare that I feel wronged by a projectile hitbox. Then again…I’m the one playing Nightwing.
Some projectiles are very odd for sure, but I don’t think there’s any that are ridiculous. I need to learn not to go all-in on rushing when I do get in on zoning though, cause then I don’t block enough
lol forgot about nightwing, but yeah it seems like most projectiles are really big, at least online. Then again I cant even do a simple combo into special online so why bother complaining about that lol. The timing chosen for this games cancel into special is really weird, online input lag does not help at all so far. oh well, just gotta keep playing to get used to/give up later lol.
Just kind of discovered this myself, my Sinestro is being eaten alive whenever someone learns to block properly. If I don’t learn to adapt soon I may have to cut him.
I’m telling you guys right now… don’t sleep on Hawkgirl. She’s the Morrigan of this game. Her trait may not all power-up and give unblockable shit, but it’s friggin pretty cool. I been labbing with her since I got the game and some of these cancels are like WHOA!
This has been THE INVINCIBLE SWORDSMAN saying:
She can Fly out of almost all her normals and cut off their recovery time.
She can fly out of all her jumping moves except the dive kick.
She can Fly after her Mace Charge MB.
Mace Charge is damn near safe (that shit aint no -55. NTS needs to clean that shit up. A lot of frames are like WTF when you test it?) and can punish a lot of stuff from across the screen.
Moves from Wing Evade might as well be safe too.
Yeah, most characters are going to have little use for super compared to their other options. I play Ares, and I find that I rarely have a need to burn meter at all except to counter Clashes. His EX moves aren’t particularly useful, except for EX ground pound, and why burn the meter on that when the regular one knocks down, and he has super ambiguous cross ups? I’m also getting close to 35% meterless combos midscreen, and nearly 50% meterless when the opponent is in the corner or close to it. At this point in developing that character, super is just for style.
Deathstroke is fine. Zoning always seems strong at first because nobody is exactly clear on what moves are good for getting in. With how fast dashes are, you should be able to dodge/block some of the gun shots and then dash in. Most of the cast has some way of avoiding the gun fire, or hitting him back as well.
Hawkgirl certainly looks interesting, and it seems like she can easily hold her own against some of the current problem characters. Her keep away is godlike. I plan to take her online sometime soon and just do flying maces to see how much hate mail I can get.
The frame data listed is fucked up indeed. I read frames in some of the move lists, and it will look like I should be able to link some attacks, but it just won’t work. How the fuck is it that I can be +12 on hit, and not be able to link an attack that only has 6 frames of startup?
God I hate the DC universe… They have a character named Cyborg… who’s a cyborg. That’s just fucking great…

How do you go through the objects thrown at you again? Does it cost 1 bar or 2?
