Gary- I might take you up on that match. I will definitely do Hugo vs. Hugo, if you do a Urien vs. Urien match up.
On a plus note Gameworks has a 3rd strike machine now, so if any locals want to meet up to play let me know or just to get some practice before the tourney.

Hey Mario, are the sticks good enough to hold the tourney on the arcade cabinet for 3rd Strike?
The sticks are pretty good. I think it will be a similar setup as last time though.
Please just run it on ps2. The only reason I goto tournys anymore is if i can use my own stick.
DVDs are being worked on right now, actually, though they still have a ways to go. Just so much footage…but it’s all so good! I’m going to be in Indy with you all as long as I have a ride. I may have a car by then, but I’ll likely have to hitch along with someone else.

CvS2 is still my best game; I had a really bad showing during the Capcomarama. I did really well at Abe’s not long before that, it was odd. So yeah! I’m definitely in for some CvS2, as well as 3S (which I’ve been really hitting hard) and ST. Getting excited…
Oh, and I’m with Humbag; I’d prefer PS2 for all three of the games I just listed.

i was there the last 2 tuesdays and last saturday also.
and no we will not have the tourny on the 3s machine, shit is stiff as fuck.
ray has already made it clear were playing on console, i wont do money match’s in 3s on that machine, there will be no excuses made if ppl get to use there own arcade sticks. i dont mind letting ppl use my stick that wont have one at the tourny if they are an experienced player. no scrub is touching my shit though lol.
i would love to get some practice in before the tourny, can you make it wednesday?? i live like 10 minutes from gameworks and also im looking for a group to get together to play on nights. not just playing in the arcade.
if you live close id love to get together and play on weekends or whenever you got time to get in some practice. also do you have cvs2??, i havnt played in over a month, since i moved i dont have it anymore and i have noone to play with, im gonna be so rusty at the tourny its gonna suck if i cant get some practice in before hand.
if you could plz hit me back up about this that would be awesome, i wanna play your urien im hoping your pretty good. i havnt seen an actuall GOOD 3s player in gameworks yet, im better than everyone thats stepped up to the machine and im not even that great.
No doubt, we can play anytime. The only time I get good competition is at Nickel and Ft. Wayne, so I look forward to getting some good games in with local comp. I will be at Gameworks at about 8 tomorrow then and if you want to play on console you can just give me a ring. I was actually up there Saturday night.

for real we need to get this tourny recorded. me and mario had some pretty nice match’s last night. if there are atleast 10 players as good as us then some great match’s are headed for the books.

As far as recording goes…I can bring some cams and tripods, but I’m not going to bring “the rig;” as mentioned by crono_marle, it would be rather time-consuming and bothersome to babysit equipment all day. I’ll be there to compete and have fun with you all, first and foremost. If someone else is willing to bring a Firewire-enabled laptop, I’ll bring my breakout box, distribution amp, external hard drive, and cables, though. There is bound to be enough quality competition and smack talk to warrant such things :wgrin:
