Because all we got for promo’s is one video, i’ve been advertising this tournament to all the gamestop party midnight release spots I went to(5) the other night. I wish you guys had made some flyers or something. Gamestop said they can’t hang them up, but they would put them behind the desk and offer a few to people whom pick up any fighting games from their store just for the hell of it.

Anyways, its day 3 in MVC3 for me, I’m in the lab, doin’ work.

I’m having so much fun with MvC 3, right now. My current team consists of Morrigan / Ryu / Dante (although I was also playing quite a bit of Taskmaster, in place of Dante).
Joined a lobby, last night, where I then proceeded to win my first five online matches before finally losing a close one in my sixth match.
I’m dying to get home tonight to do some more labbing with my team.

which is what I used in lafayette last weekend. it sucks that capcom gave us the same shitty button config menu that they have been using for the last 15 years, especially since the MvC2 console port had it right.
Still don’t know who to play, I’m trying to make some sort of Wesker/Doom team work. Wesker/Hulk/Doom has some stuff but I’m not sure how well hulk and doom will perform on point once Wesker is out. I’m considering swapping hulk for Dormammu or maybe giving in and using dante like everyone else.
I might be able to give you a ride.

That’s what I’m doing. Also, I can’t decide between Arthur / Dorm / Iron Man - Arthur / Phoenix / Iron Man - Arthur / Phoenix / Tron. I’m largely playing a super keepaway game and each team has its strengths in that regard… I’m also considering swapping out Phoenix for Ammy in the Arthur/Phoenix/Tron team…
Lastly I’ve debated Dormammu / Trish / Ammy but I haven’t really seen it work yet…
Thankfully, I’ll just be watching MvC3 this weekend rather than playing since my vs. game experience consists of all of 2 hours this morning… Maybe someone would take some time this weekend to give me a walkthrough of some basics on the system and such…
Also… level 3 x-force sentinal is just plain retarded… that is all.

Ugh, I’m starting to get very frustrated. I’ve had 4 days with the game now for training, and I’m still sucking…
Might just say fuck it and not even compete, for some reason, Sentinal and Pals 3 just doesn’t seem to be working out for me. I’m training my ass off, taking days off work, but their is something weird with my game. I just can’t put my finger on it.
I think i’ll just assist you guys in Tournament preparation. I got money, lol, whatevers needed, maybe an extra tv perhaps? Sure, why not. my spirit just ain’t in it…
Perhaps if I could see how well my rival (Giga) was doing, it might light a fire under my ass or something…Ugh, maybe what I need is some good trash talk to bring the black competitive side out of me. I’m sinking in enthusiasm.
Shadow. The game has not even been out for a week and your spirit just ain’t in it ? It’s going to take a lot of time and devotion to find a team / teams that you “click” w/. You need to really take the time and just sit in practice mode, not to mention that the mission mode is GDLK.
The community has barely scratched the surface of this game, don’t give up sooooo easy man. Your rival (Giga) blew up the Keystone Gamestop tourney…you better get on it, or he’s going to make you look free. Don’t give up man 
OK, my last post just inspired me. Now that Marvel 3 is out in the wild, this is a perfect opportunity to come together and get some weekly sessions going. The two main days that we could all get together are on Tuesday’s (Tilt $10 Tuesday) and Tilt’s Friday Night Fight Club. Now w/ that said the last few times I’ve been at Tilt SRK members were few and far between, last Fridays Fight Club pulled about 4 players; Myself, two guys that were w/ Indy DDR and a Tilt employee.
The fact of the matter is that most people don’t want to travel (even w/ in there own state) and or schedules are way different. The solution for this is to have weekly ONLINE gatherings on PSN / Xbox Live ! As for as I know in Marvel 3 there is not a spectator mode, but they will change this soon I hope.
I would really like to get your feed back about this, and I will ask around at NTC on Saturday. Hopefully we can all agree on a time and system to meet online weekly.

Yeah, I was the crazy big black guy screaming and jumping around getting hype everytime someone did an Akuma combo.
So I’m sticking with arthur / tron / phoenix. Tron on point, arthur with fire bottle assist / Phoenix with TK Shot. After getting whooped for a while since I didn’t know what I was doing, I went did some of the missions (which I want to say, really did help me get some understanding for the engine and some basic combo ideas to improvise on. I couldn’t do the hardest stuff, but that doesn’t mean I couldn’t improivse take one or two things out and make it still really good.) and I’m having so much fun with this game. I mean I’m sure I’ll totally get destroyed but I’m looking forward to playing some casuals and having some people help me learn how to play this beast…
