How much is 3s? I’d consider buying the board alone if the price was right.

I think it was only like 400 bucks. The CPS3 board and the monitor might be worth that much alone, but that control panel is just bad.

I got a super gun and a cps3 board with a dead cart. I was thinking of just taking the security cart but at that price I could probably just get it fixed and not have an extra cps3 board. Yeah I definitely don’t want that cab, I’d much rather just get a candy cab.

I just realized that I’m going to be the on-call person for my work, this week, so I won’t be able to make it to Tuesday’s tournament.

I’ll try to catch the next one, though. Hopefully, there will still be a SSFIV cab by that time…

What I thought was going to resemble a ranbat turned into a full tourney so that was nice. GG’s to Dave who will travel anywhere and then random select people and still win. Thanks to Greg and Banks for putting this together.

Greg- thanks for hosting the tournament and sorry for scrubbing it out in losers finals lol. I really liked this tournament the whole way, it had a really underground/grassroots feel to it and it was nice being around a lot of SF players I dont usually play with. Also thanks for keeping the tournament alive after closing time your the man.

This tourney was a good idea before seasons beatings too, Purdue has been wanting to start hosting tournaments and now that we have a fighting game club with 40+ people showing up every week, we could get some stuff going too and you guys should show up too, we got a lot of SF players but BB MBAA GG and MvC2 players too. Its only an hour away!

wow… first of all i wanna thank everyone for showing up, i did not expect that many cats to show up and i’m so proud we ended up with enough players to fill out an entire bracket… i’m still higher than a giraffe wearing a 10 gallon hat with euphoria :looney:… thank yous all around

congrats to Tony who pulled a rocky-esque story by showing up late, buying Kent outta his spot, losing to me, then going on to win the whole deal even while the majority of people were cheering on his opponent… you got game Tony man according to the records you had a total of 7 wins and 1 loss… good shit i look forward to a rematch sometime soon, i’m definitely gonna check out the purdue fight nights after SB

I’m was so happy with the numbers we ended up having, i expected less than 10 people to show up honestly, but with these numbers i don’t see why we couldn’t do this like once a month or something… Tony had the idea to make it like a Ranbats and keep ranks, that sounds like a good idea to me… And Shadow wants a MvC3 release tournament, and that sounds like a good idea too… I’ll talk with Vic at Tilt and see what i can get underway… I’ll be sure to let everyone know

oh yeah i got vids and pictures upping right now… we got some good coverage of just about everything… anyone know who the Tekken heads were that were kicking it with us?.. they were damn good… FYI i felt like nothing short of a pimp handling everyone’s money and hype… and thanks to anyone who played the role of my cornerman… it makes all the difference in the world
