Indianapolis, IN: We do play games, I promise

Has anyone tried this thing out? It says it’s PS3/Xbox360/Wii/PS2/PC/GC compatible :wow:

I know about the other one that is only PS3/Xbox360 compatible, but if this one works, I want it instead. It is only 40.00 too.

The PCB alone is worth the price. Anyone!? :wow:

how was sunroute dudes? i’m jealous it looks like it was a must go to event. play more 3S with me guys, i’ve been working on my game in it. everyone here should also play more mbaa. it’s fun and easy.

just saw your matches with MOV, good job guys. you did well considering you were playing possibly the best 3S player in the world.

It was fun. Everyone was good, so good some Sean and Twelve player tried to style on me and almost did. MOV was hardly trying too. I only saw him get beat a couple of times at which he’d then pull out a quarter with a big grin and then dominate the guy who just beat him. He played mostly Ken and Chun the whole time with a little Yang and Ryu thrown in. Would have been neat to seem him play Urien.

Justin, maybe I can talk Osirun into letting us run a 3v3 side tourney for 3s although I doubt there would be much interest besides us and a couple of players from Ohio.

yeah jesu we should play 3s sometime. Sunroute was pretty intense. everyone there was good. most were very good. and some were untouchable. MOV really wasn’t trying in casuals. most of the time he would be talking to someone, trying to explain his magnificence and playing at the same time. he would even be talking with his right hand trying to show something on the screen and just defending, occasionally putting his hand down to tech a throw.
Is there at least going to be singles at powerup?
oh i read that sggk thread, i didnt realize people had been talking about it for a couple of years now. it seemed like everyone at sunroute thought it was news or something. can you point me to any other good option select threads?

thats cool that controller is only $40, you’d prolly want some new buttons and a different stick in it though.

it’s not a main tournament but i believe there will be 3S tournament regardless. possibly on arcade.

Need Sunroute vids please.

I’m not knocking MOVs skills (I honestly don’t know) but isn’t Kuroda considered the best?

As for the stick, I just want it’s sweet, succulent, multi platform brainz… Muahahahahahaha :badboy:

Yea, apparently MOV even said he was the best but he has and still can beat him. Justin and I playing him. There are some more in the Sunroute thread.

There will be 3s singles at Powerup.

Kuroda is the best and smelliest 3s player in the world.

I’ve heard some interesting stories about him as well. He is probably Rainman type smart. Could solve for pie if he wanted but chooses to let lesser beings exhaust their minds on it.

Adonis has been unbanned and this awesome.

Gonna be playing SF4 at my house in Muncie Saturday after 5:30pm.
just got a lag/less LCD Monitor.
As I have said before my house is spacious and clean.
Everyone is welcome.
Jesu, Mario, Dogworth, Bazard, Bank how bout it wanna trip down.
if some people come, someone should bring another game setup ( I have another TV)

PM for address (zip code 47304)

I probably won’t be able to make it since I will be busy tomorrow for once.

Have any of you played Mount and Blade? It’s an independent PC game that focuses on realistic (or far more so than any other game) medieval combat. You start off by yourself with nothing, then start recruiting some peasants and try to make a name for yourself. Over time you can build up your stats and raise an army, all the while fighting in large-scale real time battles where you can both fight personally and give orders to your army. Eventually you can join a kingdom as a mercenary or sworn vassal, or even found your own kingdom and conquer the whole continent.

My favorite part about it is how readily moddable it is, before it got an official retail release the game was basically a series of mods built on top of other mods that were then folded into the actual project when their creators were hired onto the development team. The game has been slowly developing for like eight years now, so there are a lot of different and interesting mods, many of which are like a complete overhaul of the game. My favorite so far has been Revenge of the Berserk, a mod which lets you play through a rather faithful rendition of the Berserk manga’s story with both scripted battles and the game’s tradition free-roaming campaign. It’s pretty much the best mod I have ever played for any game.

It’s a pretty cheap game too, although I am currently pirating it since a new expansion/version/sequel is about to be released. Even the demo version lets you play until your character is level 7, which can take hours when you initially don’t know how to play.

I really do hope some people will show up… this is my sf4 debut since i moved out here in indiana lol

Great matches vs MOV. I can’t believe Chun can punish normals after she’s hit like that… that is some Cable BS right there.

I imagine that the local community’s interest in SF4 will be much higher when Super comes out. A lot of us weren’t completely sold on SF4 but with all the new characters I imagine most people should be able to find someone to play.

I for one am definitely hoping to branch out from Rufus. He’s the only character I really like using at all but I don’t like his poking/footsies and would love to pick up someone like Juri or Ibuki.

Eric are we on for tomorrow?

yeah man, around 5 - 6. i’m looking to play a lot of mbaa and 3s.

paul: i’m totally down to go to your place if other people are going, but the only days i would even have time to leave town are sunday and tuesday.

well there you go all we need to do is organize a get together/tourney.
Mimicing the Box Arena style tourneys.

There needs to be some big get together for the SSF4. Jaguars are better than tigers. Eric, are guys going to have 2 setups going?

we could do 4 setups at my crib. but I could imagine it would be easier to do in Indy. But I also imagine that there would be quite a few of us on hand so It may be well advised of us to find a more spacious venue…
