As of now we still have to meet this week for finality. Once everything is final I will post the first date.
Venue fee will be $10 and Entry fee for each game will be $10. We will start off with Street Fighter IV and Tekken 6 both being ran on PS3. If people start asking for more games we will include them for $5 until a solid base is formed for those games as far as people showing up then we will move them up to $10 aswell. Also I would love to include more of the games in EvO but right now it seems as if SFIV and Tekken 6 are standing the test of time. TvC just released and there is still STHD, MvC2 and Melty blood to look at.
Anyway for now every monthly event will be on a Saturday. We will possibly have gatherings inbetween each monthly too but right now we are just focusing on monthly events.

hm… yeah… man Eric how are you getting along with you final fantasy gauntlet?.. me and my brother just got a new ps2 so we’re running through all of our favorite Ps2 titles and among them we’ve restarted FFX and in under 3 days we’ve made it to Zanarkand to fight Yunalesca but we still need alot of sidequests done… we’ve also gotten into CvS2 and 3S real deep again… my Sean is so beast but he didn’t make it to SSF4 with Ibuki and the rest so it looks like i gotta pick up makoto again
i got a couple technical questions that anyone can answer if they know
1)i have a AIAB hyrbid stick that i thought was able to play on PS2… but it can’t… do i need to open it up and mod it or can i just get a USB/PS3/360>PS2 converter?
2)anyone know where to find a Rumble Fishes ROM or an original copy of the game… i think it’s on dreamcast and pS2
other than that i’m glad to be back and we’ll be able to start gaming at my place soon :smokin: provided nobody minds hanging out in the ghetto… or close to it
i’ve been working so much and there have been so many other good games coming out i can’t keep up with the FF gauntlet. i gotta beat dante’s inferno, mass effect 1 & 2, bioshock 2, and heavy rain before i move onto god of war 3 and final fantasy 13. not to mention i need to have both of those done by my trip to boston or at least before SSF4 drops.

i liked the hakan teaser at the end of the new trailer… sadly after playing 3s intensely for the last few weeks i cannot play as dudley, ibuki, or makoto…atleast not thier 3s versions anyway… i’ll have to wait for april to know for sure… but for now i forsee myself using either juri, cody, or deejay… did the 3s characters look wierd to anyone else… like they were too big or too heavily outlined?.. maybe that was just me… Dudley’s ultra was so boss… hit decked the hell out of rog… showed him how a gentleman throws a flurry of punches… also he is the only character thus far with an offensive capability to his taunt
They definitely looked weird to me too. They brought back an awkward Dudley move that was taken out before 3s. They don’t look as fluid as they do in 3s but I was expecting that. Plus, Makoto has the overhead Sean kick. Adon and T. Hawk look sharp though.
like sean’s wheel kick (ala Ken in CvS2)??.. i thought they gave that to abel… infact they gave able a few sean moves… didn’t they… what’s the time mark for the makoto overhead kick on the video?
