I had a lot of fun last night. ggs to ZAP, RiotGuard, LZO, and cheezface immortal. I need to step up my game with claw, especially execution. Seems like I couldn’t get a single kara throw. Back to the lab for me.

That honda player was naptown’s own Billy Ma. I brought him into the lobby, he just got a PS3 and was super excited to be playing with the rest of you guys. We have to get lobbies running like that more often.

That whole list is actually more impressive than what I recall seeing from gencon in the past. The BlazBlue and MvC3 team tournament actually sound pretty good, and I’m very curious about the MvC3 card draw tournament.

Also after watching that weak Dr Doom combo video from the front page I think I’m just going to have to declare myself the best Doom player in the universe by default because no one else even seems to be trying

good games at arsenal you guys, it was great having everybody together… that’ll prolly be the only night i can show until we switch days… my vote is for saturday or sunday cuz i work all night on weeknights

i just got word that our own Tilt will have a booth at Gencon this year right next to the Electronics Gaming booth where most of the tournaments will be played, i’ve volunteered to volunteer so i dont have to sneak into gencon this year… and im also going to enter all the tournaments i can ontop of teaming with G-mac and Dom for MvC3 teams

Zamza - hey you were doing some good stuff with Vega so i dunno. keep at it and maybe at the next Indy event we’ll get with Neil from Purdue and have a convention for our character. lol. and yo, don’t forget to hit me up for some ST (“classic” HDR) sometime or even better yet find me on GGPO or Supercade. i go by “immortal” on those.

Gregg - hey are you really running 3S again? i’m a bit disappointed. it only got 5 entrants last time and of those 3 were Fort Wayne, 1 was only because Jon Mittendorf from Muncie just happened to be home from the military briefly, and then only 1 (Mr. Gone) was an Indy player. hopefully it will draw more this time around.

Greg, is there a possibility you could change the T3 date. I’ve got plans that weekend plus I think Arcade Legacy is having a tourney, Ft.Wayne is having one their gaming parties too I think. That might lessen attendance. I missed the last one and I don’t want to miss this one too.

Brent, I hear you on 3s. Whatever draws in more entrants. I wouldn’t be opposed to some kind of team tourney like random teams waseda style.

How are you liking vega’s transition to AE? He got a ton of nerfs that weren’t justified at all imo, but I’m having more fun with him. The new cr. mk is just so good for frame traps, and cr mk, cr mk, cr mp on counterhit is just sexy.

Also what times are you generally on PSN? I do still wanna get in some games in classic mode.

I haven’t spent enough time with him yet to really know his AE differences. I didn’t even realize his cr. mk was different or that he could do that combo you listed. I’ve spent most of my time looking into T. Hawk, Hakan, Oni, and Yang. T. Hawk is doing well for me thus far so whenever i finally play an AE tourney i’ll surely start off by trying him and maybe switch to Vega as a last resort.

um, it really varies about PSN. i work M-F 8-5 and when i get home and play games i’ve been playing more on GGPO recently to practice up for SBO quals next weekend. but i’m on here and there maybe between 7pm-11pm. i mostly just play Vega and Chun Li in ST.

that is a impressive lineup for GENCON. i remember i was a volunteer three years ago it was nowhere near as impressive as this years lineup for games. I might have to make a few moves here n there as far as schedule but im going this year
