Oh man…I’ve been so knee-deep in MK that I completely forgot that the AE DLC was coming out tomorrow.
I’ll probably grab it once I see it on sale. MK online experience is supposed to be seeing improvements with tomorrow’s patch, so I’ll probably be even more deep in MK than before.

I’ve told this story a bunch but when I was in Cali and these guys got to see and test out Dudley before Super came out and on paper he was by far the best. We saw how that turned. Makoto was supposed be good and ended up being worse than Dan… I believe it when I see it motto is in effect.
I went up there and I only saw four dudes. Two of them were playing Street Fighter, which I don’t mess with, and the other two were playing Mahvel on the Xbox360. Now I only had a PS3 controller and I don’t do stick because I’m a broke bastard. I would have stuck around to see if more people showed up but I had some other stuff that needed to be done. Indy, where you at? lol
well stop playing a fighting game on a system that wasn’t built for it. like crap 360 lol. I just got my converter in today so I don’t care what system it’s being played on now. Not going to play it on that 360 controller cause last time I did that I lost to that chun li player at my first tournament.
Also where are the gatherings? I hope it’s not downtown where parking sucks.

Ummmm…you need to get your facts straight. First of all if you knew anything about the current fighting game generation then you would know that the PS3 lags. PS3 SSFIV and Marvel 3 lag two to three frames, due to the core processor. While 360 does not lag at all. The only reason that most tournaments run PS3 is b/c it has been the “EVO” standard due to Sony donating systems to the tournament for several years…and this is coming from a PS3 player.
Stop using your controller / pad as an excuse to not go tournaments and gatherings…if you played on stick this would not be a problem. I’m sure that our local modder Punk PC could dual mod your PS3 pad.
The sessions are held on Monday nights (5pm - 11pm) at the Arsenal Game Room…Parking is FREE and there a ton of spots, NO COVER CHARGE.

If you had stopped and actually used your eyes and talked to us you would have saw / found out that we had multiple copies of every fighting game out right now. These sessions are just not for PS3 Marvel 3, but all current fighting games including SSFIV, MK Blaz Blue CS, Tekken 6 and HDR. We were also running two PS3’s and only one 360.
If 5 people is not enough comp for you, sorry it was a slow night. That’s going to happen some times. The only way we are going to get consistent numbers is if people actually show up and stay. Not just dip like you did. WHERE YOU AT MOY?!?!

Sry…I know I’m coming off a little salty, it’s not personal but I’m just tired of the bullshit excuses. There are legit excuses like Work, School, Family / Friends, Girlfriends that keep people from coming to sessions.
Not this PS3 Vs. Xbox / I need a converter bullshit…There are plenty of modding solutions that have been out FOREVER to combat this problem. I want to get better, I want are scene to grow…but that’s not going to happen being an “Online Warrior”.

I have a couple of reasons as to why I had to bounce so quick:
1.) I got a text from one of cousins that he was leaving to Cali, I had to go see him off.
2.) There were exactly four people there, I didn’t want to be that one guy that needs accommodations. Like I said, I only play on the PS3 pad and I only play BB and MvC3, SF is not my cup of tea. If I wanted to play with you guys, then that would have meant having to play BB, MvC3 or KoF on the PS3, and you guys looked like you were having hella fun wIth Mahvel on the 360. Didn’t wanna spoil it.
As for not introducing myself, I didn’t think it would be that much of a deal lol. Next time I’ll be sure to give you a hug and kiss on the cheek. Nah, I’m just fucking with you lol. Sucks that attendance has been flagging recently. I’d love to have come the last couple weeks but I’ve been in the middle of moving. I’m out of state next week, but I’ll definitely be making the drive up to Indy after that. I’m looking forward to being dominated at MvC3 again.
So on Monday we were talking about which day to hold the Arsenal gathering on from here on out. Arsenal says that Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays are good nights for them, and on Fridays they are open until Midnight. More people might be able to come since it’s the weekend, but they might also be more likely to have other stuff going on. We’re gonna be staying on Mondays until the 20th, but if people want to change days, we can do that the week afterwards. I guess whenever Kyle gets back from vacation he can put a poll up on this thread, and we can see which day would be the most popular.
I was wondering what happened to you. Attendance has fluctuated a bit, but there’s a good core of us that are there basically every week.
