Yoo, I become a slave to the man for a long ass time, and then I come back to see almost no familiar faces in the Indy scene (based off SRK that is). I’m going to give another go at making a triumphant return! I’m now the GM of my workplace. That requires me to work like 55 hours a week, but I usually have Sunday and Monday off. I had heard those are the days most people play now from Marcus, so when I can make it out I’d love to play games with everyone.
To the people I actually know still here, like Kyle and Mario, we need to find a time to play games. I miss being able to sit around with you guys once a week just to nerd out over fighters and games in general. I’ve still been playing with some casual friends (mostly UMvC3), but I just purchased a new hitbox and need plenty of games to get used to this thing. I feel like I’ve actually leveled up a bit, so I’m excited to see how things go.
Introduction time.
I’m Eric and I have XBL but don’t like to play on it. At this point I’ll play almost anything and play a large amount of games on a regular basis. As I stated UMvC3, but also just started learning TTT2 and P4A. I have interest in playing some GG, AH (if kyle still plays it at all), and KOF. Willing to try out MK games since it seems like there is some interest in them here. Super excited for Injustice on the horizon as well (I’m a huge comic fan! A bit of a creator of them as well). So yeah, I’ll play almost anything basically, haha. I’m down to host if needed, usually only on Sun and Mon. I’m located in the middle of South Broad Ripple and Downtown, so a pretty central location at 38th and Meridian. I can provide food for gatherings from the pizza joint I work at. Apartment is kind of small, but the living room is quite large. Similar in size to the living room at my old place on Broad Ripple Ave for those that have been there. I live with my girlfriend, so when here the only thing I really ask is to clean up after yourself. I have a cat, but always stock allergy medicine for those in need, and my place is “smoke” friendly. Will also be going to Evo this year, so I hope to meet everyone and then be able to see a few familiar faces when I’m out there. I got lucky with some benefits at work like paid vacation, so all of my plans for it are already in order, and I’m willing to help anyone interested in going if they let me know.

You can see Kyle at Arsenal Game Room (address is listed on the first place I think) on Mondays from 6-10. Expect large amounts of GG and P4A action. There’s usually 3-4 of us there playing those games, with a few other people making an appearance from time to time. You can catch Mario at Net Battles (look it up on Facebook). We don’t really use this SRK thread anymore to communicate things, we’ve all pretty much moved to the Indianapolis Fighting Game Community group on Facebook. Moving to Greencastle later this year to attend DePauw. What little I saw of Indianapolis I liked, and I look forward to either playing anyone there or finding someone at Uni.
Well… I’ve moved from Indianapolis. I signed a three year contract with a firm in Colorado so we moved out last month. I love Indianapolis and when this is done, I don’t know if I move back but I will miss you guys. Good luck to all of my fellow Hoosiers!
