"In Living Color" is coming back!

pretty much. just super smart in their fields.

btw fuck this show bring me back my wife and kids…best wayans show EVER!

Oh hell yeah

Really want to Homie the Clown again lol

Love what keenan did back in the 90s with In living color and how he created a career for many of the people from the show… yet its a new day an time an many shows have tried the ‘in living color’ formula an either lived for a few seasons or got flatlined… thing is he has so much to battle with let alone the rise of the simplistic youtube stars that arise nowadays…

i hope for the best but tryin to rekindle a show that during its time had comedians an comedic actors/actresses that were hungry an willing to make a name for themselves is gonna be hard…let alone see if his formula of comedy (please see his movies let alone shows) via his writers (if he brings them back) can stand up to todays ‘standards’ and ‘wants’…i mean we saw what happened to chappelles show.

Will probably suck. Would be nice if it didn’t.

Also, a personal note:

Back in the day I thought the “Men on Film” segments were fucking hilarious. This was when I was in 5th or 6th grade. One day, as I was laughing hysterically during one of their segments, my mom says to me “You know they’re supposed to be gay, right?”

My mind was fucking blown.

You could not tell. im amazed you were not one of those kids easly lured in to the back of the icecream truck and found raped and dumped in the bushs…

damions belly shirt lil hat and the whole thing did not register

I just thought they were sissies, and were hilarious. The idea that they were actually homosexuals didn’t even occur to me.

Kids, man. IT RAINING MEN, HALLELUJAH, ITS RAINING MEN! skips into the distance

Handiman… That shit had me rolling. Wish more shows had the balls to do that.

I hope they bring back “The Dirty Dozen” show. That was one of my favorite skits. That and Wanda. lol

I’ll check it out, this show was the bomb back in the day…Everyone watched it on Sunday talked about Monday in highschool…

Hopefully it wont suck. Also I need to buy the season boxsets for the old show. All I have is season one lol

I just realized that I probably wouldn’t even get the joke when/if they make fun of musicians these days.

I remember when my dad found the “Hey Mon” skits particularly hilarious.
I asked him why and he said because it was so true…he never met an immigrant in America that didn’t have less than 2 full-time jobs.

With decent writing and some quality actors, and a mix of original and nostalgia grabbing skits this can be good. But time will tell.

Shit it can easily be argued Jim Carrey ain’t doing shit either. Boy last successful movie was a family flick about penguins.

Jamie Foxx and David Alan Grier are actually quite busy. Who knows what all the random Wayon’s siblings are up to, but Keenan and Marlon have always been busy. Not so much with Shawn though lol.

And Jim should show up just because that show MADE him.

you call that successful?

Last time Jim made me laugh, was Me Myself & Irene (MAAAAAYBE Yes Man). He needs to just do something insane again, rather than play Joe Everyman who ends up facing some weird occurrence.

Wait…he didn’t have anything to do with Happy Feet…

facepalm Dude…in the black community, sissies = homosexual. We don’t have straight-but-dresses-like-Madonna-and-acts-like-Perez-Hilton guys. We’re less complicated than that. What you see is what you get.

I can’t believe you guys are forgetting about …

The Head Detective!

cue dramatic music

Did I mention he’s an excellent bowler?

I didn’t even know what “gay” or “lesbian” was until I was 9 years old.
And the only reason I found out was because of the “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” policy being in the news. I had to ask my stepdad what a “lesbian” was because I never heard the word before.
So yeah, count me in as one of the kids who thought the Men on Film guys were just supposed to be really silly.
