Improvements You Would Like To See In DOA4

Really? You can make the girls naked in the previous games? The DOA1 girls are so un-lifelike, I wouldn’t even have wanted to look at them nude. I remember when you took just a single step forward, the boobs start moving up and down in a wave motion for a good three seconds or so. Much too tacky for me to enjoy looking at it for any purpose other than to laugh at how stupid it looks.

I don’t remember DOA2 or 3 having an MA rating though so I’m pretty sure you’re making up lies. As for DOA4 though, get rid of the fighting game altogether and implement girl-on-girl kissing and I’ll be sold.

I think he was referring to the special opening movie in the original DOA2.

The new counter thing sounds interesting, if they make it so it’s no more of that “whoops I accidentally countered the move by mistake and took a third of your life” bullshit. Make the frame window smaller. For all the bitching and trash talking people make about Bloody Roar, when it came to the fast evade system, it was precise and you had a small window of dodging attacks, which took skill. if they make the countering system like that in DOA4 it would help a lot.

Also tone down environmental damage, it’s fucking annoying getting knocked into a wall or off a cliff and taking tons of damage. Tone it down so it won’t be half as bad.

Nothing else really needs to be said, this covers probably the two biggest problems in DOA. With the rediculous counters being the first problem.

I’m not making shit up, while I’m not too sure about DOA1, I do know that DOA2 did have the naked Kasumi, you could use a gameshark cheat to play as the naked Kasumi that gets engulfed by the blob in the intro.

Dunno about DOA3, but you could play the girls nude in DOAU and XVB via mods/hacks.

• smaller, believable breasts. Less giggle.(this goes for Soul Calibur as well)
• smaller counter window
• fix hitboxes
• less/no spammable attacks
• maturity(seriousness).
• better story.

for me it would mainly be

-throw breaks on command throws
-Replacement command for slow escaping, I dont like mashing on the buttons and wiggling the pad around like a moron just to escape a stun. Why not just make it simple to escape stuns i.e tekken.
-smaller counter window, bigger disadvantage for retaliation afterwords
-More stances, only one I can think of right now is Busa’s handstand stance.

doa looks excellent and has much potential. im sure theyve noticed the obvious, WTF’s, in the game, and have changed them so he can compete with better fighters like tekken, and virtua. i dont even know why they made the counters so easy to do in doa2/3. guess he was trying to get it out asap, and said fuck it. i really like playing doa. its a real hard hitter, and judging from what i saw, its going to be excellent. as long as they fix the problems posted in this forum, EXCEPT THE BREAST, thats not a problem.

add more replay value by having more minigames, and since i always had fun discorvering what new nuaghty custome the girls will be getting why not increase the coustomes for each girl to like 99 each. and more free nudity would be nice. bigger boobs would be nice :wow: and if i wanted to play something more serious thats why i have virtua fighter 4 evolution :tup:

but for more seriusness. make the countering system more harder to pull off :tup:

Calm yo ass down. I ain’t seen nothing on G4(if you are talking about Video Vixens, I can’t stand to watch that show). If nobody pays attention to the breasts then you wouldn’t be so adamant about them staying in the game. The girls can still be sexy but DOA uses titties like MK uses gore, tastelessly. Lets grow up. Unless they all got knocked up they shouldn’t have breasts that full. Kasumi and Ayane are japanese ninjas. Whatever, just my opinion.

They made the counters easy to do because Itagaki aims to make DOA a casual/mainstream-friendly fighting game(nothing wrong with that).
