I re-read the first post, and I thought that I should probably mention I’m bringing a guest.
:sad:
Yeah, it’s going to be Classic and Remix all on PS3s. No Dreamcast versions since that’d be confusing. And they will both be in the same day like they were at NEC9.
Also I need official rules for Naruto 4 and TVC asap.
Bringing a guest too.
-_-
lol, I gave you the tentative, basic rules that everyone’s agreed on already, you just needed to edit out some of the advice stuff. 2/3, winner keeps teams, etc etc, those basics still need to be posted.
So…Justin W playing Arcana Hearts? Ive seen videos of him and I came to the conclusion that …
Me = FAIL!
Wong still has not answered me on a 3/5 in Marvel, $10.00. I came to the conclusion that…
He = Scared!
:lol:
(totally just kidding)
The PS2, TV, and Wii would be great if you can bring either Brawl, Melee or Tatsunko vs Capcom that’d be excellent. You don’t have to bring the Dreamcast along with you but it would help though.
Also, if anyone could bring an Xbox 360 (just one) that would be great. This will be needed on Sunday. If no one does I have a backup plan.
whats the 360 for?
Just to please my sponsors I am having a 2v2 Halo 3 tournament on Sunday. It’s not going to be openly announced or advertised on the forums or anything but I will have the controllers and stuff for everyone to use and play with. I only want to draw from the pool of people that are there already for the fighting games which are being advertised. I don’t want to draw a whole different crowd coming for Halo 3 purely. So on Sunday I’m just going to announce to ask if anyone is interested to play the day of the tournament.
We’re going to use VGA adapter cables and use LCD computer monitors to play on. So, it won’t draw from the pool of TVs avaliable to us since the 360 has a VGA adapter (Which we have several of.). The only downside, you’ll have to use headphones for the sound.
I have everything but the 360 a TvC. I’ll bring 'em all. Should get me in free, right?
Yeah, you get in free. Just make sure you bring it between the hours of 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. because that’s when we’ll be setting things up. I don’t want to add new equipment after that time into the venue. Hope to see you there.
I have another question…that may be considered stupid
Am I allowed to have two same function buttons mapped on the controller? For Example, In Arcana Hearts,(A) = Square and (A) =R1?
I honestly don’t see anything wrong with this. Magnicious is the final say though.
I have a potentially stupid question though…why would you need this?
Anybody who is going to get a room at the hotel closest to the venue reserve one successfully? I’m trying to get a room, but I honestly don’t know where to start since I don’t know what the hotel’s name is or anything.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. (Magnicious isn’t online, so it wouldn’t hurt to post asking)
I can’t believe that I’m going to two tournaments in two weeks. I need to get a new hairdo and up my game in Melee. Better re-up my Live too, so I can practice Virtua Fighter 5 and Soulcalibur IV on a daily basis.
Ill be using a controller instead of an arcade stick. On top of that, Ive never been in a tournament, so I kinda gimped myself by being use to playing with two inputs mapped to one button.
I like to use :
L1(A) + X(S) to Throw
L1(A) + Triangle(B) to do my supers.
I know its weird but im trying to get off of that cheap mapping stuff if I wanna play in tournamentsand get my ass kicked
If you do get a room, is it possible for me to get in on it? PM me
