Ignore is still not working for me. I’ve followed the steps correctly, but to no avail. At best, I’m having “one hidden reply” like before. At worst, I’m having the message appear like normal.
This is how ignore currently works.

Unfortunately, if you’re in the thread as the message goes up, it won’t be blocked until you refresh. If you weren’t in the thread as the blocked person’s message goes up then it’ll be fine. It never totally erases the blocked person’s presence

^^ It works well enough. The most i ever see now is a, “View Number of Hidden Replies” link. Such as from my devoted fans in here who are butthurt over me rejecting their advances lol. Beyond that i don’t see any other details, like who its from, etc. Very easy to scroll past and pay no mind to it.
So it’s doing a pretty good job.
Edit: I’ve also noticed that when other members not on my ignore list, quote posts by those who are on my list. I don’t see their quotes. It shows up as “hidden” also. Nice!
But he has to go and Reply to those “hidden” posts anyways.
So make sure you Copy and Paste instead of using the Quick Quote feature

The ignore function is there so you don’t deal with posters you like, not so you can do petty, snippy shit with it.
Its already a rule not to drag bullshit drama all over the place. If you guys have somebody in ignore, then follow through and ignore them. But I’m not going to be pleasent about people using ignore as a new form of trolling.
Don’t drag one thread’s issues into another one.
Don’t purposefully misuse ignore just to be a bitch about it.

The ignore feature is for the weak. I thought we always had it but I’ve never used it considering all the trolls we’ve had over the past 15 years.
