That no excuse. Some of the newer TF series have been hated badly on too(Armada), while some have been alright(Energon), and others surprisingly well-done(Animated). They still made it happen and didn’t stop attempting it when running into a bad spot.
They could do the same with DBZ instead of letting the property sit there. Sure, might end up with some duds like GT, but might also have successes too.
The point is if its as big a property as TFers, someone will TRY.
However, if no one bothers, then it must not be.
Ren N Stimpy is more influential than the other nick-toons.
