Jim Lee seems like a popular choice but I feel that there isn’t one particular character of his that I like more than others (except maybe his Wolverine or Psylocke). Keep in mind that many artists even do sketches of characters that they have never worked on before.
Ed Mcguinness - Captain America
Joe Maduera - AoA Colossus
Frank Miller - Batman
Akira Toriyama - Wolverine (Out there, I know)
Joe Kubert or Jon Buscema - Classic Marvel Group (A lot to ask but it would be awesome)
Joe Mad - Dante of Devil May Cry. He drew him for PSM years ago
Arthur Adams - Spider-Man. He drew a mean Spider-Man long ago
Jim Lee - EATMAN AKA Bolt Crank! He’s a fan of his and he did one of his TPB covers ha ha!
Alex Ross - Shuma-Gorath because he should of been in Earth X gosh darn it! Yeah I realize he would have to reference an octopus and a human eyeball, but still.
McFarlane - Venom with the crazy anatomy defying tongue lol
John Romita Jr. - Blackheart since he co-created him
Frank Perry - Sagara Sanosuke for kicks!
Frank Cho - Power Girl, just because… :lovin:
Joe Quesada - Peter Parker and Mary Jane getting married.
Joe Shuster: Superman. His drawing of the character, even after all these decades and all the different interpretations, is still definitive.
Frank Miller: Marv. My favorite Sin City character, plus the logical final result of Miller’s favorite barrel-chested bad ass archetype (for further reference, see Leonidas and DK Batman).
Will Eisner: doesn’t matter. Eisner could draw a plumber with his ass crack hanging out and it would come out looking like a Da Vinci.
EDIT:
I could give Jim Lee a couple of Crayolas and ask him to draw Mickey Mouse, and it would still end up looking exactly like the rest of his his sour-faced hatchy line art
Geoff Darrow-Big Guy and Rusty (preferably) or maybe just a scene of mass carnage.
Alex Ross- Kamen Rider
Winsor Mckay-NEMO! or Flip, or maybe a little comic strip since he could draw super fast.
The thread title is "If you could have your favorite artist do sketch for you who would it be?"
Not “bash other people’s preferences or take pot shots at the artists they choose.”
