Yeah, I can only tolerate that Vaseraga dude’s aesthetics, and I bet he’s going to be slow.
I probably won’t pick up this game, which is a shame as I love everything else about it.
All of the characters just look too happy and good to me, as well as a lot of them look like they’re 12. Gran looks like my 6 year old fucking nephew.

The radiation has seeped in to the ground. It goes 1cm every year. So its 33cm under now. They’ve buried as much stuff as possible so that dissipates the radiation.
You cannot sit on the floor. If you leave anything on the dirt then it has to stay. You can’t dig there at all, absolutely not. It will disturb the radiation.
There are a lot of wild dogs. All tagged and neutered. Birds and bugs are all there. Some Elk. Fish. We saw fish in Pripyat. Again the same with water, the deeper you go the more radiated it is.
She said some people there eat the surface fish. She wouldn’t but some do. They don’t eat catfish, bottomdwellers.
Around 160 people live there. If you do a 2-3 day tour you can meet them. They like visitors.
We were there 8 hours and accumulated less radiation than a 1 hour plane flight.
Our guide dosometered the dirt areas for us. To show the difference between dirt and concrete. Concrete can be washed and decontaminated, the water flows in to the dirt so she showed us. At the end of the day our readings were 0.2. Dirt was 5, 9, 16, 25, 29 etc.
Yes there are places you can’t go. The red woods is the most contaminated place on earth. She said its like splotches. You might walk in to one by accident so that’s why you go where they know its safe.

Anyways, I appreciate your photos and details. I’m always curious about it, and am surprised people still live there.
Are there any side effects by living there but not digging and/or eating vegetables from the dirt? It seems like life expectancy may not be quite the same as others in nearby towns.

I’ll be honest, the only anime I’ve watched was the classic Akira movie but I loved it and watched it dozens of times (more so for the fantastic animations though).
But like dragon ball and even GG characters don’t look like this. I know some of the GG characters are young, but they don’t look this young to me. Half of these characters look like they still get money from the tooth fairy.

I also dislike the aesthetic of the game but if another beta pops up I implore you to give it a try. The game plays really great, if you can find an archetype you agree with you may just be able to get over the visuals.
