Missed it but here’s the Kazuki showcase. Gameplay starts at 3:15. Full SSM at 30:59.
Summary
Like the other two season pass characters, he had an SS64 based costume. Can assume the same will be for Wan Fu.
Has a normal similar to Charlotte’s 5K(the knee). May go over low attacks like hers.
An anti air normal that I thought was a DP (2C?) that swats people out of the air. Hitting when they are on the ground leaves them standing.
Has a wall jump like the other ninjas.
A special where he creates a fireball near him. He can stack it up two more times. When knocked down, he can throw it towards the opponent. They never did this move standing. It has some tracking when thrown out. Base version leaves someone standing while the fully stacked will launch them. Most importantly probably is that it powers up his other specials.
Kazuki also has a regular fireball. Standard but it can be powered up with the previous special move. Charging it twice leaves the opponent stunned for a follow up. Charging it fully did 277 damage that’s also a lot fasterthab the other fireballs he can throw. But it also knocked Kazuki onto the floor when you use it.
Another special is a hit grab that’s comboable. Not only powered by the fireball, it also has a rage version. Combined with Max fireball, it can do 363 damage unscaled.
He had an interesting teleport move where he blows himself up that can actually hit someone with the explosion. Has some invincibility? Was able to recoil to safety with it. Rage version has it hit multiple times. It only moves him backwards.
They do a small fireball war with the other Kazuki. Any charged up fireballs would win against his basic one. And by win, I mean completely engulf it. Maybe the same with other projectiles?
His WFT has him charge forward in flames and blowing up when he connects. Unlike Basara’s, it can be comboed. A blocked one of these has him bounce back but he can still be punished. They showed it with them punishing with SSM.
They do a small combo. Air heavy, 2B, fireball that’s been powered twice into WFT. It did some MASSIVE damage.
They also show that fireball x2 will hold someone long enough to combo into lightning blade if you are already in rage.
Weapon less novelist seems pretty barebones. The only special he showed was him throwing the hovering fireball.
He turned out a lot more interesting than I thought he would be. Curious to see how he stands against the rest of the cast.
